This is a great product, does what it's supposed to do. However I took a star away because they is no size printed on the guide rings. They bothered to print the product logo on the interior of each ring, but not the thickness of the rings, this is both inconvenient and hampering.

Hi! This is the best rolling pin I have ever used in my life! It's long enough to make rolling dough out quick and easy, the lines on the pin makes it much easier to measure , the rings are fantastic at making the exact thickness (a little hard to get on, but you wouldn't want them slipping off all the time your using the pin so that's just a few extra seconds to do) and I have long nails-and this pin is big enough to keep them out of the dough but not too big. It has a weight to it (not heavy), the measurements are clearly seen, nothing sticks to it that I've found-merely run it under water and it's clean) Quite a change from an old wooden one that grabbed hold of everything and refused to get clean unless soaked for twenty minutes in hot soapy water. It has one extra ring most don't have to make 5 altogether and that will be helpful over time. It came right on time, was packaged so well I could barely get into it but when I did, I was thrilled to death with my new rolling pin set. Washed it up and made noodles with it that night and they came out Wonderful! I also have aches and pains in my hands and writs at times and this pin is still so easy to use. If you need a new rolling pin, then I would look no further than this one-and the price was great, too! Give it a try, you'll no doubt be as happy as I am! Fire

I just used this rolling pin for the first time, and I love that it's so light weight. Before I was using my mom's old wooden rolling pin with the handles on the ends. It was so old, bits of grossness rattled inside and would flake and fall out on my pristine pastries. So I knew I wanted a rolling pin with no openings for bits of gunk to collect. This smooth metal rolling pin fits the bill. Its light weight makes maneuvering easy, and it's super easy to clean. Floured bread dough doesn't stick, and it can be put in the fridge to cool off if needed. The measurements etched? lightly on its surface allow the user to roll dough to the correct width. The silicone rings slide on the ends and allow for the dough to be rolled to the proper thickness, which prevents uneven baking. What I wish, though, is that the rolling pin came with a way to store the rings without having to take them off/on the pin. For now, I slide the rolling pin inside my silicone pastry mat, and keep the rings in a baggie. As other users mentioned, having the different sized rings in different colors/marked with the size would be appreciated.

Sizes are impossible to read. I have to take a picture and enlarge it. I'll probably keep it since there are only 5 sizes to remember and seems ok otherwise

Great set! We love this set for our Christmas baking, and making pizzas! Worth it!

I had no idea you could actually measure the thickness of dough or pastry - I always thought it was down to experience and guesswork! Now I know better and this is a great little tool with a choice of four thicknesses. cleans easily and being stainless steel it cleans up easy and if you need to have it cooler, it is easy to run under a cold tap and quickly dry and re-use. So glad I purchased it and delivered so speedily too.
