Surpringly good quality; even the box it comes in is nice. Size is as advertised, and it has a very nice weighty feel. I tested some LEDs behind it, and it lights up admirably. Very pleased.

It's a great and unique gift to give someone. They will be a little baffled but then pleasantly surprised.

Good solidly built product. We actually dropped this on concrete and damaged it so we immediately ordered another one. The larger one is just a few dollars more and is well worth it. My daughter holds this up in front of her camera at times to alter her photos. Good accessorie for picture taking.

I have rather small hands and wish that it was easier to hold but overall it is a worthwhile investment.

I use it a lot for flare effect as well as for framing, hiding unwanted objects or subjects. I used to use smaller 7"-version with my 85 mm f/1.2 and 35 mm f/1.4. But once I got 28-70 mm f/2.0 I realized I need bigger version of such prism because front lens is much much wider. The whole set is heavier now but works like a charm.

Very nice looking at the outside colors

Very high quality prism. I can't dock any stars as it is a very nice clear prism and it came in a very nice package. However, I wanted this for the rainbow effect in sunlight. Unfortunately this prism, being an equilateral prism, does not work as well for this effect as right angle prisms. It's still a keeper but I'll just have to find something else to do with this prism.

Bought this for some lens flare effects for photography portrait work. It is big enough and initial tests prove promising. It did arrive a day later than initially promised and the end was chipped pretty significantly. That chip doesn't matter for me, but it would have been a deal breaker if I bought it for another purpose.

Great for teacher demonstrations of prism refraction. Nice ornament too.
