Just measured it. . It is 10 and 3/8 inches long

Q: How do you sanitize? Instructions are listed as just running water, but can you soak it in alcohol and not ruin it?

I use mine for just me (I am not sharing with anyone) so I just run it under water and let it air dry. I don't think you can use alcohol on this repeatedly.
