Egglife, Original Egg White Wrap, 6 Ounce

I bought these for my mother. She “used” to eat her everything bagels all the time until I got these for her and they’re so delicious she’s obsessed! Nice fluffy texture, perfect size for her to make a lunch out of it, and she likes to make a wrap out of it with chive sour cream and onion cream cheese and turkey or ham. What’s another amazing part is that they don’t break apart, hold together well once wrapped up, and is very easy to hold (which is all so helpful for my disabled mother). She loves that they’re low calorie and overall very few and healthy clean ingredients. They are very versatile with what you could actually use them for especially based off what flavor you choose. The cinnamon ones are so tasty by themselves I actually enjoy tearing little pieces off and rolling them up into little mini rolls to snack on as a healthy and filling snack, and so does my dad! 5 stars and a hit for the entire family 🌟

Simple and easy to use, pack of 6, these tend to stick together - but if you leave them out for a while they become easy to peel apart. They don't have a distinctive taste and that may be their biggest advantage. Even though they are made of agg whites, they don't have an eggy smell. The nutritional data is excellent, low carb, low fat, low cal, checks all the boxes, nice quality product, good size, one works for me as a serving.

I thought this might be thick or have an egg taste or tear easily, but it has a nice neutral flavor, is soft and easy to eat, while being thin and strong enough to use as a wrap. I really enjoyed this. I love that it’s gluten free. Compared to gluten free bread, the cost was really very reasonable.

I ordered the original and the southwest. They were okay, but the southwest was better. Eventually, we got tired of both. I bought them mainly because my uncle, who is diabetic, is staying with us, and we want to eat healthier by reducing or eliminating white and wheat flour. I MISS MY ROTIS and dumplings, and my family still needs to learn portion control, but we are making an effort So the wraps were meant for us just as much as they were for him. We ended up letting one pack spoil. I think the package says to consume within 5 days no one touched them because, as I mentioned, we were bored with the flavor, the texture and the entire GOOD and healthy idea. However, I will reorder the southwest and roasted garlic and herb to try the lasagna recipe that another reviewer mentioned. Wishing everyone the best on this low carb adventure. It's challenging, especially when you've been able to eat whatever you want without worry like I have, but my uncle's health has really pushed us to wake up and strive to do and be better!

I don’t like wraps in general but am doing low carb keto and miss sandwiches. Often, I make “chaffles” but they do not have a neutral enough taste to use for something simple like ham/cheese that is not heated/melted. Making sandwiches using lettuce for bread as a thing but sometimes just doesn’t hit the spot in terms of taste. Saw a video with someone using these as lasagna noodles so figured why not. Amazed to find the texture is not really rubbery and although they are fairly light, they are sturdy and don’t rip. If you taste them plain and cold, they are still OK - you don’t get an immediate “oh this is egg” flavor, and while the texture is still not bread it is close enough to really enjoy. I didn’t heat or toast anything, tried a ham/lettuce/cheese with mayo sandwich using only one wrap (they are big enough) so that was only 25 calories for “bread”. Was totally hooked and am looking forward to all the different ways these can be used (I have an experimental keto lasagna in the oven right now using these and thin zucchini ribbons. Can’t get over how much you get out of one wrap for so few calories, no carbs, lots of enjoyment and no guilt! A bit pricey to use often but I know I will use these A LOT and the health benefits make this very worth it. Try these!

Certainly, we all have our personal tastes, and plenty of folks like these. Not me. There are better low carb alternatives to EggLife, such as Outer Aisle's sandwich thins and Mission's low carb tortillas . First, the flavor- there is none. So, if you just want a neutral wrap for your fillings, this might do. Second, the texture- ugh. It's a soft foamy something. It reminds me of the thin white foam wrap used to protect items in a package. Very unappealing mouth-feel. There's no chew at all to these- just soft and mushy. Exactly as you might expect egg whites, that have been compressed into flat circles, would be. Last, they are flimsy and easily torn and I found it a challenge to wrap the fillings secure enough without tearing the wrapper. So even as a food delivery system, it failed. I appreciate the fact that so many people like them, and the odds are, you will too. But, I have to put my experience into the mix as well. It may save some folks the money. These are very expensive, highly perishable, and most definitely not for everyone. Especially those who are finicky about the way some things feel in the mouth. I'm one who is not a fan of mushy things. This falls under that category. I feel like I'm eating soft foam. I'm still excited about their existence and I hope it leads to more innovative low carb substitutes. It can be very boring eating the same things over and over again. Being able to make a wrap or sandwich out of the usual fair really enhances the experience and makes it much more tolerable. If you do try them, I hope you like them!

I’m on the carnivore diet right now, but I usually stick to low carb foods because of my insulin resistance. I love that these are low calorie too, so I definitely recommend them. Amazon was the cheapest place I found nearby me, while Safeway priced them about $2 higher. The Original is probably my least favorite, Sweet Cinnamon is perfect for dessert with some sugar free whipped cream and a little strawberry preserves, and so far Everything Bagel has been my favorite. I make tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. I ALWAYS cook them before I eat them. Taste better, even the Sweet Cinnamon one.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE! I received these and trust me I was skeptical. I have recently lost 71 pounds and no longer eat carbs. But i was longing for a nice wrap. Or fajitas or something. I ordered these and had them for the first time last night using them for fajitas. I was so happy that I will be ordering more, I have finally found something that is low cal, no carbs, low sodium and good for me at the same time. I did heat them up in a fry-pan no grease for 15 seconds each side. They are awesome, I cannot recommend them any more, I should be their spokesperson.
