These connectors can transmit the temperature over the full K-type range, from -200 to 2500 degree F. The plastic housing is made from ABS and is stable to about 247 degree F.

Wire gauge? We have 30 gauge K-type wiring

These work well with AWG 30, AWG24 and AWG20 wire. Anything thicker than AWG 20 will probably not fit the screw terminals.
