It leaves a terrible build up on my hair that can not be rinsed out so I have to use regular shapoo in between washes.  ?

Hi there,

Sorry the transition to New Wash hasn't been easier or quicker. But we promise, even when it takes some time and patience it is worth the effort.
Don't get too discouraged if your hair needs some time to adapt and find its balance. It may result in greasy hair, or sometimes a dryer scalp.
This can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on how often you shampooed previously and what products you used.
Meanwhile, these tips have helped many people adapt to the New way to Wash:
• Be sure that you use enough New Wash and massage it vigorously into your scalp; we recommend 4-5 pumps. 
• Use your fingertips and really scrub – like they do in a salon. 
• Use more New Wash as needed to work through your hair length. It should be well-coated and easy to finger or comb through. 
• We suggest leaving New Wash in while tending to the rest of your body. 
• Finally, rinse really, (really) well. Use your fingers and hands to help.
• Our shower Brush does the trick for many to better apply and rinse New Wash (it also feels great).

Some people find it best to wash more frequently (every day perhaps for a week or so) or repeating at first. The body needs time to stop producing the oil it is so used to replacing when shampoo is used.

We know from experience that New Wash can work for everyone; just be persistent and patient. We promise it will be worth it!

I definitely wouldn't recommend using shampoo in between because it will bring you back to square one of the transition every time.

Question 2

Using (deep) new wash, after washing, my hair is tangled and in knots?  and i still have to wash every day due to my roots are still extremely oily?

Same here. When I use the regular wash I don’t get tangles, but the deep wash always leaves my hair in a tangled mess.
