PERFECT table for the sewing ballers on a budget! :)
I've always wanted a functional sewing table and after using a generic white 6 ft folding table for over a decade, it was time to upgrade! I started my research by checking out the high end sewing brands (Kangaroo, Koala, Arrow, etc) and QUICKLY decided that I'm not ABOUT to spend one to three months worth of mortgage payments on this thing. WHO. DOES. THAT?!?! (No, I mean I REALLY want to know who out there is buying those???? *side eye* lol!) Just kidding but seriously...this is a market that is obviously ripe for some competition..... GASP!Anyhoo...after gathering my breath and placing my order I waited patiently for my cart to arrive. As Murphys Law would have it, there was a snafu with my order. Based on the shipping label it appears that it was drop shipped directly from Sauder and apparently someone fell asleep in the warehouse and pulled a TV Cart instead of a Sewing Cart. REALLY?! (You had ONE job!) I cannot blame Amazon and I didn't discover the error myself until after I had already taken EVERY. DARN. PIECE. out of the carton. I called Amazon within an hour after delivery and they placed a replacement order at no cost and set up for UPS to pickup the return for the next day. About 5 days later I finally received the correct item.Sauder packed this item really well. It arrived shrink wrapped in order to ensure no damage in case the outer box got dinged up during shipment, which it did. Lol! But there were no missing pieces or components - yay! I give Sauder an extra gold star for adding a website link to the instruction manual that allows you to view an assembly VIDEO - HOW cool is THAT?! The instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow. I have purchased and assembled wayyyy MORE "faux furniture" than I care to admit over the years, so I was delighted to discover that there were no weird defects and this cart came together beautifully - it exceeded my expectations for the cost. I'm a very practical person, so what truly sold me on this cart (besides the price - HELLO!!! :)) is the utility. The LAST thing I needed was another pretty table with no functionality. It has an extra leaf on the left side that can be lifted to extend your workspace another 16 inches - SWEET!!! I insisted on reading the Amazon reviews before purchasing and made a mental note of the suggestion from others to keep the leaf extended and just add some storage units underneath the leaf to support it - GENIUS! There are two storage spaces on the cart - one on the right side that has 2 shelves (I used it to store my sewing machine) and a 2nd storage space behind the front door (I used it to store my embroidery machine). There are also 2 removable bins hanging on the inside of the front door that can be used for small supplies. The cart also has wheels for easy of mobility. What else could you ask for for only $160 bux?! If you have 3 stacks to blow on a fancy sewing table then....well, I hate you. Haha just kidding - lol! But I would recommend you get THIS table instead - and spend the rest of those hard earned coins on fabric and margaritas! Happy Sewing! :)

Great craft table!
I have recently converted our guest room into a craft room when not being used by guests. I was looking for a table that would be easy to clean up and put away and look like a nice piece of furniture for when a guest is actually staying in the room. This was hard to find (very few options out there), so I was excited when I saw this product by Sauder and it had great reviews. I received it a week ago.First, the packaging was very sturdy and secure...there was no damage to the materials inside and I appreciate the company making the extra effort to protect the pieces. The box was on the heavier side, but my husband could lift it down the stairs to our basement on his own. I would have needed someone to assist me. The assembly was rather easy, although a little time consuming...however I read that in the reviews so was prepared to spend a couple of hours putting it together...and it did take about 2 hours to assemble. The directions were very easy to follow, and I appreciated the humor written throughout the instructions. I was able to assemble it by myself, however I do pride myself on being fairly handy and good at assembling things. I did have my daughter help me lift the table upright however, but that was to ensure I didn't snap the roller legs on the bottom. My guest room is carpeted, so I assembled it on the carpeted floor (which was recommended to protect the wood finish). I had read a review that when they tried to roll their table on the carpeted floor, the unit cracked or fell apart in some way. This was not the case for me. My table is very sturdy and does not feel at all like an inexpensive piece of furniture that I put together. And I have used it every day, there I roll it away from my wall and then roll it back to the wall when I am finished using it and still have not had any issues with the table rolling or disassembling at all.I am very happy with this product and recommend it for any other crafter/sewer out there who is looking for something similar.

Very functional and nice
Great design. Easy to assemble. Just take your time if you're not used to putting things together. Pay attention to detail. I had no issues. No missing parts. This was the perfect size for a little corner work area for my wife to store her sewing machine and materials. Picture shows it as a mess in the middle of a project but it looks great when it's all closed up. The design it very practical and functional. My wife is very happy.

Great for sewing
Somewhat a challenge to assemble but worth it. Storage is good for sewing, able to store most needed items close at hand. Nice piece of furniture when folded back when not in use.

Good quality and easy to assemble
I finally have a dedicated sewing and crafting room so upgraded to a real sewing cart instead of using a folding table. I looked at sewing tables at the local sewing store and discovered they would be delivered unassembled and were 2-3 times as expensive. I've had previous positive experience with Sauder products so decided this would be a good solution. It was delivered undamaged and was packaged very well. All pieces were undamaged. I found the assembly instructions easy to follow. I believe it is a good idea to review all the assembly instructions first and make sure you understand how to do each step. The instructions recommend having a second person to help with assembly. The instructions for the top extension direct you to attach this piece while the cart is upright. And yes, you would need a second person to hold the extension. However, I simply flipped the cart onto its back and then attached the extension. Then flipped the cart to the upright position. It is a solid piece of furniture, but I was able to flip and move it as needed. The extension is held upright by the left door piece which exposes the inside of the drawer while using the extension. I put a small storage cart that is just the right size to fit underneath the extension. This way I can leave the extension piece up and close the drawer. Makes a nicer appearance when not in use. The storage shelf under the desk is sufficient size for my sewing machine case. The storage shelves on the right side is sufficient for my storages cases for supplies. The left side has plastic bins where I store my sewing machine accessories. The casters roll easily and 2 of them have locks to ensure the cart doesn't move while in use. I would recommend this for someone who wants a portable cart as well as someone (like me) who has a dedicated sewing space and will not be moving the cart very much.

Quality Flat Pack Sewing Table
I have assembled several flat pack pieces over the years and this is one of the best. High quality materials with good instructions with both written and schematic diagrams. I think it would be reasonably easy for a novice to assemble with a helper. I assembled it by myself in about two hours. It takes a fair amount of wrist strength to tighten the cam fasteners and screws. I carefully used a high quality impact driver with over-torque control and had no issues with stripped fasteners. Made in the U.S.A. from globally sourced materials.

This thing is awesome
I bought this back in 2021 and after 3 years and counting with it, I can tell you this thing is VERY solid and worth the buy. Besides just being an extremely functional and versatile piece of furniture for any kind of hobby, it's also easy to put together and quite sturdy. From what I remember about assembly, it came with good instructions and I was able to put it together by myself in an afternoon. More importantly, while moving the movers somehow DESTROYED this thing; it arrived at my new place in a bunch of pieces and they were telling me "Sorry about that you might need to throw this one away" NOPE! I spent maybe an hour taking it completely apart and putting it back together. It turned out everything that failed was basically dowels that had been pulled out of their places. I rebuilt it using all the original pieces and it is back to it's original strength, still in great condition besides a couple surface nicks. I'm telling you: if you want something that is going to last, this is it - even if it breaks on you, it's probably going to be in a way you can fix and since assembly is easy, repairs are easy too.

LOVE THIS THING!!!!!! perfect organization in a compact piece
I would give this thing 10 stars! I love to stay organized and I felt that my craft stuff was in various drawers in my master bedroom, and Id cringe at the thought of gathering all my supplies to make anything -- particularly my cricut and vinyl and all miscellaneous things. It did take me a bit of time to put this thing together (and its quite heavy) but I enjoyed the process and Its actually pretty well made for the price. I could NOT believe how much stuff I fit into it ... doesn't seem like much space but actually its the perfect amount of space for someone who does crafting here and there and needs a designated space to feel productive, efficient, and neat. I actually store my cricut on the floor of the desk (inside) bc I have a large plastic box that holds all my vinyl on the shelf -- but it fits perfectly! I also have a ton of misc. crafts for my preschooler in the side pockets, a ton of craft papers/cardstock on the shelves, my laminator, laminating pouches, christmas and other greeting cards, markers and all sorts of supplies, ribbon, etc. I could probably fit even more in there if I tried. I love that I now see what I have and i forgot that i had some of the things and colors which I already owned. The espresso brown matches my office decor and kind of looks like its part of the office. my husband didn't even complain when I rolled this thing in there.... I think he was impressed at how organized everything is now. I no longer have random plastic bins filled with crafts in different closets of my house. I highly recommend this table.... its very compact and doesn't take up that much space and actually freed up a lot of space in the other places that I kept these supplies. The wheels roll great, if you needed to move it in and out -- but I keep it in one place.

Great cart for my Cricut!
I am really please with this desk. It is very sturdy. It has ample room to hold my Cricut cutter as well as my computer tower. I love how everything closes up to be clutter free when not in use. The storage racks are very handy, and the extra workspace that the fold up table provides is excellent. It also went together easily and arrived very quickly. I would recommend.

Excellent Work Station
This table sits at a very good height for working on crafts, sewing, homework, what have you. I actually didn't expect to use it for much more than sewing, but it's become my main workstation for everything since the height is comfortable. It doesn't have a hue amount of storage (the two bins on the left for holding smaller items, the shelf underneath and the cabinet space) but since it has that "fold up/become smaller" feature, I understand why that is. It's definitely an OK amount of storage, and if you keep it open the majority of the time, you can add some extra storage underneath the left side. The only thing that really bothers me is that fingerprint smudges show so easily. It's impossible to keep it really clean, but I get out the cutting mat and I can't see it anyways, so it's a very small concern. Some of the pieces also arrived slightly damaged (one piece was chipped and one edge on the front was a little crushed) but it's nothing too noticeable.Overall, this cart had the best value (storage and workspace vs. cost) for me and I don't regret the purchase for a second.TL;DRPros:- Good height for working on crafts, sewing, homework, what have you- Customizable shelf height in the cabinet- Very sturdy- Good valueCons:- Arrived damaged in places (very minimal, hardly noticable)- Fingerprints and smudges show easily

I love this sewing cart
I love this sewing cart! I'm new to sewing and needed a place to put the machine and everything else I was accumulating. It has quite a bit of storage and you can customize the storage trays on the door with the included dividers. It's not the best quality but it's nice enough where it doesn't look too out of place in my bedroom. For the price, you can't beat it. Be careful with the drop leave because the hinge can get a little loose. It was a little time consuming to put together but it wasn't hard. As you can see by the 5-star rating, none of the problems were enough to keep me from loving it and finding it very useful.
