It’s a paste. Rub it on and rinse it off. It works well from my experience.

How does it work on anodized aluminum?

It’s puts a coat of wax on it. If it’s pitted you’ll need to use fine brasss wool to remove the pitting.

Can it be used on diamonds ?

Probably could, Diamonds are one of the hardest substances on earth...Starclean is a metal polish.
