Whole Beef Brisket (12-14 LBS.)

Good cut, it cooked up wonderfully. The brisket weighed just over 11lbs, including the bag and juices. I messaged and the seller promptly responded and made it right. Im satisfied, but would definitely weigh your briskets when you receive them.

I preface this review with "I have never smoked a brisket before". Now with that said I was very disappointed with the amount of fat intertwined throughout the brisket and just the amount of fat in general. Like I said this was my first brisket so I researched and watched several videos on how to prepare and trim the fat for smoking. I have smoked several other meats so I'm not a complete rookie.I completely realize this might be very typical with all briskets but it will be my last. For what it's worth the quarter, 3-4 pounds that I did keep does taste real good.

Weigh your briskets when you receive them people. This was my second master chef brisket and it looked small so I decided to weigh it. 10.5 lbs!!!!!! I paid for 12-14lbs. not happy. Edit: Customer service contacted me right away and made it right. Would definitely buy again. Matt was extremely helpful.

First Brisket I have ever cooked and bbq competition friends said it was winner. Looking to order again for upcoming bbq competition.

Fantastic! Much better than from the grocery store. Arrived in a styrofoam cooler which was handy for letting it rest after cooking.

The only negative thing I can say about this slab of meat is that it didn't last long enough ;-D
