I bought this for my gypsy vanner-draft cross horse. I had zero measurements for him until he got delivered from the guy I bought him from. I just knew he was built like a tank when I saw him. Hes close to 16 hands and boy howdy is he in need of a wide load sign for his butt 😀However, this halter has quite a bit of adjustment and its a weeeensy loose on him on the last buckle holes. I'd say it fits him perfectly. Its a gorgeous halter. Its heavy duty and sturdy. VERY well made halter. I almost bought another because I was trying to be frugal and save $5 . I am so greatful I did buy this one. Its defi itely worth the money and then some. Love it. I bought the Large size.
