Talk it out! It’ll help!
We got this one from the library when we noticed some anxiety popping up and immediately knew we had to add it to our collection. The moral is talking helps, and that’s so important for kids (and adults!!) to hear. It helped start a lot of conversations and was helpful as a starting point when those nuggets of worry started creeping up. Excellent for all ages, but it’s written for pre school to about 2nd grade.

Helping Kids with Worries/Anxiety
This story is great! It is a great story to teach kids to talk about their worries and that everyone can worry sometimes. Highly recommend for kids who are starting to worry more or overthink, especially if this new territory, depending on developmental stages. This is a story to encourage discussing feelings rather than discussing the main character’s specific worry. We learned that worries can be different and they can come and go. It is ok to have a worry pop up now and again, the real key is how you handle them.

Beautiful story highly recommend recommended
This book is a must have for children. It’s about a little girl who has a worry, but it doesn’t go away until she addresses it. It’s so cute, if you haven’t read it, definitely do!

Important message with beautiful illustrations
We love this book enough to buy it for other people’s kids. The illustrations are sweet and the message is important. It’s not too complex for a little kids.

Beautiful story to teach children about anxiety. Read to my own children and used in school during Mental Health Awareness Month. Can be used in K - 8.

For UK buyers this is EXACTLY the same story as the original Ruby's Worry. The only difference is a few words due to this being an American book, such as cinema to movie theatre, cosy to cozy.

Taught my child what to do when they felt worried. Now they can state they can talk to someone if they're feeling worried to feel better and shrink their worries.

This book is a perfect way to explain to young children about what to do with a worry. We've ready it many times and use the sharing strategy it shares. Thanks!!
