Chose the AllerEase Ultimate Allergy Protection Ultimate Cotton to help cut down on allergens from our mattress. Amazon states that this product is returned frequently, so a few details: Item is difficult to dry after washing as stated in reviews. Due to waterproofing the mattress cover comes out of the wash dripping like a plastic bag, plan on hanging the mattress cover for a few days to allow for air drying, then toss in dryer for a short period to fluff. Note that we noticed that the cover seemed to stick together in a few places when we tried to dry it in the dryer for over 15 minutes, air drying with a short fluff in the dryer worked beautifully. Fits the mattress nicely, slides over like an envelope with a zipper closure on one end. A definite two-person task to put the cover on. The cover does have a waterproof feature so it does have the "crinkle" sound, however the ultimate cotton feature on this cover refers to the top which is softer and quieter for sleeping. Also purchased the pillow covers to cut down on allergens. So far we're noticing a marked difference in the mornings, waking up with no stuffiness or sneezing. After reading that this product was a frequently returned item (despite the high star rating), I looked further at the 1-star ratings to make my decision. Several purchasers sated that their mattress protector ripped while placing it over mattress or it was not waterproof as stated in the description. I purchased 2 in twin size for my daughter's day bed with trundle. I placed the protector on the top mattress myself (yes, it would have been simpler with 2 people), however it did not rip. I was careful not to tug or pull too hard. I also purchased the organic cotton mattress pad by AllerEase to place on top of the protector. I slept on the day bed that night and never heard any "plasticy" noises. This may be helpful for those considering their selection not based on having a bedwetting youngster (or animals). I simply wanted something to help protect the new mattresses to keep dust/allergens, etc. out. I have always placed a mattress pad over the mattress protector. If you are like-minded in wanting to minimize chemical exposure that we are bombarded in today, I looked into the HEIQ technology listed on the packaging of the protector. It's purpose is to minimize odors from bodies (human) and as a result of bacteria. Again, I have a mattress pad over the protector. I was equally satisfied with the pad from AllerEase which is organic cotton as the top surface. The sides are the typical synthetic nylon or polyester found in most similar products. I hope this will help others decide what is right for them.

Really like these because it protects the mattresses at a fully furnished condo we own. You need another person to help you put it on but once it’s on, it stays put. We don’t have issues with bed bugs but the state is highly known for them so with these I don’t need to worry about it. It’s waterproof and doesn’t feel plastic/cheap, no issues with drinks or menstrual leaking and ruining the mattresses. Directions say it can be washed but it will melt if put in the dryer regardless of how cool you make it. It holds up very well, I only change out when I change tenants. It helps with Allergy protection too which my tenants appreciate.

Nice but cotton cover makes it difficult to put sheets on.

It was an epic battle getting this on my mattress and topper, but afterwards I got the *best* night’s sleep. Once you start trying to get it on, it feels like your mattress suddenly weighs thirty pounds more than it did before. The bed frame shifts, slats fall down, the cloth gets stuck in the zipper, and your dog looks at you with fear and confusion as you swear at the mattress. But afterwards you realize it was worth it. I swear not just the bed but the whole room just feels cleaner and fresher now. I would never *not* have my mattress covered with one of these again.

This cover is perfect. Just bought a second one after having the first for a year. Great fit for a 15” queen. Took the original off a bed it had gone on when the mattress was brand new (and embarrassingly long between washes of the cover). I get night sweats and the mattress cover had become sweat stained - I was worried about what I’d fine when I took off the cover but the mattress was pristine - absolutely like new. This cover did its job beautifully. And the cotton cover is good for not trapping heat, as advertised.

Overpriced; of lowest quality; difficult to get mattress in, very slippery. I bought a generic cover that was marginally thinner than this junk. At least that one didn't come with a hole in it. That didn't tear for a full week. Due to the cheap materials used (slippery plastic) the mattress never did get encased. VERY DIFFICULT to get mattress inside. They zipper the top (or bottom, depending on which way you slip n slide the mattress in), about 25-30% of the way. The best method is to allow the cover to slip in, with 3 corners unzipped, using a fabric material double layered with plastic. Unlike this might as well use a gigantic garbage bag, for all this will do. Bottomline: wasted 30 minutes before noticing there's a hole in it, never got an entire end in, without it slipping out the other end. And yes, I've used covers for a queen that were much easier to use than this smaller Full (maybe "fool" cover). IF you want frustrations, are fortunate enough to make it around the mattress, but want it to rip allowing dust mite, allergens, bed bugs and anything else you wanted off your mattress, then and ONLY then would this be the cover for you. Otherwise look elsewhere. FAST. Rating: 0/100. There's absolutely no value in such a thin cover that even if a hole was punctured by user (but it wasnt) within 30 minutes.

I couldn't find anything similar to these at any store in India, and I looked everywhere. They're an excellent bedbug barrier but don't make you sweat at night. It was worth the extra cost of importing them.

Fits my thick Queen foam mattress with some room to spare. My foam mattress made it harder to get on than a traditional mattress would have been as it didn't slide on as easy, but that isn't the protectors fault. Very nice to sleep on, not "crinkly" sounding when you move like some can be. Very well made! Good zipper. Definitely water proof as it is hard to wash. lol Have to move it around in the wash a few times to get as much water out of it then spin before putting in dryer. Holds water like a balloon. Love it. Would buy another one! Highly recommend.

tengo un colchón de 55cm de alto, y sin problemas lo pude poner, se ajusta perfecto, y protege completamente el colchón, me gusto mucho y me da mas confianza tenerlo protegido con algo de buena calidad, los materiales son excelentes, en mi experiencia este tipo de productos son desechables ya que después de 6 meses al cambiarlos, la tela de arriba se comienza a pelar la parte impermeable y se comienza a pelar por dentro, ya el tiempo dirá si sucede lo mismo con este modelo, pero la verdad me gusto y se siente de muy buenos materiales.
