Finca Perle Cotton Size #8 Thread Sampler Pack for Sashiko, Embroidery, and Quilting (Antique Sashiko)

I bought these, thinking I'd be prepared for a number of Sashiko jeans repair projects I had planned (i like the blues to closely match the original denim color), but *none* of the colors matched any of the pairs of jeans I was repairing! The blues are just too bright– denims are usually more of a drab/muted blue, I guess. Anyway, the colors are lovely and the quality seemed good, but if you're looking to match denim, you might be better off with embroidery floss.

The colors are very rich and well chosen. The cotton almost shines. I love this thread.

I am using this perle cotton to patch denim, and it is wonderful. There are enough different colors in this package to match the many different shades of denim that I need, from the most faded to the almost new denim. I am very pleased.

The thread is very nice quality, but I'm going to have to minus a star for deceiving colors on ad. I put them on top denim to show how the colors compare in case others need to know. I was not expecting exact match but tones that look well worn denim.
