Irish Setter Ely 6" Mens Steel Toe Work Boot

Most of my work shoes are Irish setter either slip on or lace, I opted for laces this time so they're a little more secure on my foot. I've worn these boots for 3 days now they are comfortable they look decent my toes don't hit on the safety toe at all there's plenty of room, the only thing I'm not sure about is the leather eyelet stretch and durability, time will tell and the top hook seams a little shallow other then that I'm pleased with the boot.

Good fit and a good price for work boots. Third time I've bought them. I'm pretty hard on work boots and I usually get two years out of these.

These boots lasted me almost six months working six days a week 9 hours a day. They're not waterproof which does suck. They're heavy but that's why they lasted so long through all the stuff they were put through. The end reason I had to go get new boots though was because of how much water I ended up having to walk through everyday. A few seams began to bust here and there and of course the steel toe became exposed as it always seems to do. Other than that they were always good to go. The vushioning all around was killer. It didn't keep my toes warm in the winter but when i switched over to new pair of cheap brahma boots oh how I noticed and missed it. There is a hard sheild in the lower tongue of the boot that rubbed into the top of one of my feet uncomfortably when I first got them that eventually broke itself in to a comfortable shape I guess over the course of two weeks. I haven't gone backbto these because of the weight and the fact my job doesn't require such a serious boot nowadays. The price is also a factor as these are or were at the time a pricey boot.

These irishsetter shoes are great. I think this was my third pair. The quality is above a good shoe. The weight is on the heavy side because of high end materials in comparison to light wieght boots, it lasts me a average one and a half years. I like this boot!

This is a good overall shoe. It fit as expected, I have owned several pairs of Red Wind Boots in the past, so sizing was not difficult. I choose this boot to serve as a nice steel toed shoe to wear with dress clothes rather than to work in. Once it arrived I discover it was Made In China. So if you are looking for the true hand crafted in the USA stick with Red Wings. This being a Red Wing Irish Setter Brand. With that in mind, I am still very satisfied thus far. The quality is still better than other brands I have seen. Red Wings still upholds their quality standard for this boot. It is as comfortable as any other Red Wing I have owned. and appears to be a compatible durability and construct, bearing in mind it is half the price of a true Red Wing boot. so I would rank it about half the quality, which is still far above many other brands.

These were a gift for my son. They are high quality, wear well and really hold up it tough conditions. They are the only work boots he'll wear.

Very nice boot! They are made by Red Wing Shoes! Comfortable and quality built. I install toe protectors to save the leather.

Love the feel and weight of them
