did they solved the broken tab issue I have 4 battery’s all broken at the same place ?? the small tab broke up

I am hoping as I am buying a new one now. That said, I have only had one tab break since 2015. Not sure if recent failure is 5 years old or 2018 replacement. I suspect these come from China factory where engineers get paid to use less material; hence no radii at sharp corners where higher stress occurs.

Does anyone know what type of battery this is? lithium ion? nimh? nicad?

It's a Lithium Ion. I've been using them for a few Cycling Seasons. I carry a couple spares, but yet have not needed to swap out during any of my Century Rides and I do a lot of shifting during a day ride. During season I always keep Batteries Charging to be readily available. I ride in approx. 6+ century rides each cycling season, additionally I ride each "off" weekend and have yet to have battery issue.

Can i used this battery with my 12 speed eagle axs mountain bike derailleur?

Yes you can. I have Eagle AXS and the battery works fine.

Will this work with the new sram axs system?

Yes. It works fine with AXS. I have both and the battery is exactly the same as the one that came with the group and fits and functions perfectly.
