OUTSTANDING!
I have done a lot of plumbing jobs over the years and this was my first use of anything other than traditional copper and soldered fittings. I will NEVER go back to solder again, these things are freakin' amazing! They are easy to use and much faster than soldered joints, plus you have the added benefit of being able to disconnect the fitting if necessary and redo it. I was a bit skeptical at first because no matter how careful I have been, I've had my share of leaking soldered fittings that had to be resoldered, but after installing a house full of Sharkbite fittings - NOT ONE LEAK! I'M SOLD FOREVER! I highly recommend Sharkbite!

works great
Trying to solder wet plumbing is really hard to do properly and using a torch runs the risk of setting your house on fire. These fittings solve those problems. The fittings are well made and easy to use, just make sure to follow directions. A clean cut (don't use a hack saw!) and a clean pipe is vital to prevent leaks. I watched some videos on-line to avoid making mistakes. The tools that they sell for de-burring the cut, marking the installation depth, and undoing the fitting if necessary don't cost very much and I highly recommend that you buy them.

Sharkbite plumbing system is amazing and a game changer for me
I live in an older home with copper piping. A pin hole leak can quickly add expense to my water bill and cause damage. After I had yet another leak and called the plumber yet again I was told it would be a few days I would have to wait. I called another and he didnt show up. I was frustrated and went to a home improvement store to find a temporary fix to await my usual plumber. Someone there told me about the Sharkbite brand and parts. I bought what I needed. Watched a few youtube videos and gave it a try. It was so easy, installed as expected. It took me longer to watch the youtube video than fix the leak myself. It cost me less than $50 and my last leak was $175 to the plumber. I have since found a few more and one where a weld by my plumber didnt work and was leaking just a bit. LOVE I can get these from Amazon. Save yourself some money and have repairs that work and dont leak with this brand's parts. HIGHLY recommend.

Genuine Sharkbite - enough said
Work great and hold up. Nice that you can use these on different materials; pex, copper, etc. Make sure you have the measuring tool and disconnect tool. Some of them come with the disconnect tool but these did not. The measuring tool helps make sure you get the fitting on to the correct depth. Have been using these for 10 years, never a leak. Spendy though.

Easy to use and doesn't leak
Long ago when I first tried using SharkBite connectors I had my doubts about them, I mean really a push on connector that won't leak? But it's true. I don't know how much easier doing plumbing can be. I've used the PEX copper ring crimp on connectors and in tight spaces getting the crimp tool in there can be difficult and even make poor crimps and have to redo them. With any SharkBite push to connect that isn't a problem. You simply push them on and job done with no leaks. I have some that are over ten years old and still no problems or leaks. I just installed a water softener system and had to remove a couple of the push on connector which was done using the SharkBite removal tool and was able to reuse those fitting... and still no leaks from them.

Was initially concerned...
Not gonna lie. When I first got these I was concerned about leaks and waking up to my basement flooding as I had never used them. I'm used to either brazing copper pipes or priming and gluing pvc tubing. I'm a bit of a control guy and when I moved into my house years ago had ripped out the horror that was the tubing entering my basement from the well pump.. put in a whole house filter, pressure tank, other, removable filters and carbon filters, water softener etc. After years of use the softener had given up and the mechanisms sprung leaks all over. I wanted to take that out and instead put in an iron removing filter as our sinks and toilets need constant scrubbing with some of our lighter clothes becoming "work on the car" items due to staining. I read a lot of reviews here and elsewhere about the sharkbite connectors and wound up ordering them.. heck, they were returning so why not? I cut cpvc to length and put connected everything with sharkbite elbows, reducers, and a valves. Once I slipped everything together, crossed my fingers and opened up the water. Hmm,.. so far so good but lets wait and see.. turned on the water throughout the house and watched everything pop and shake as air bled out of the system and pressurized to 70psi. Okay.. so far so good. Cleaned up and went upstairs to eat.. came back down checking for leaks... went to watch tv (The Boys-started slow but ROCKS)... wife and I took turns checking for leaks. Went to bed... got up a few times... and now it's been a few weeks. Not a drop of water and none of the pipes has tried to slip out as we have them all marked for this purpose. These things rock! One of the things I like best is that you can rotate the fittings (ie; the pipes can still move, rotate etc) without leaks which means it's all super forgiving if you get your lengths slightly off and stuff is not 100% straight and true.. it adjusts.. something PVC and Copper do NOT do... and I can also move stuff around a few inches if needed without cutting/de-brazing pipes etc. I'm a convert!

I used it to reroute some pipes above the water tank. It's great time saver and have yet to see any leak, the quality is super. I would use these type of fittings in visible areas.
