I was leery about buying this tool, but after using it I am glad I did. This tool is great for slicing and dicing onions. It makes it a lot easier to hold the onion in place while you're slicing or cutting it. I also tried it successfully on a cucumber. It made the knife cuts a lot cleaner and faster. It's a simple tool that solves an ongoing problem. I have used it on both yellow and red onions. It saves me a lot of work. Yes, I have been slicing dicing and cutting up vegetables for a very long time without this tool. But why would I not want to use something that makes life easier for me?

Perfect to use . Bought for my 90 grandmother and she loved it . She uses it to cut meat veggies ect . It’s a big fork pretty much but has a handle and fits in hand not to bug or small perfect design . It makes cutting so much easier and makes food or veggies stay in place . Cutting alot more easier faster and safer . Easy to store away

My hubby has a problem slicing onions and tomatoes and asked me if there was an easy way to cut them without slicing himself. I found this great little tool. It is perfect for him, no more finger cuts and frustration. Best of all, I don't have to do it for him anymore. I love that it has a plastic shield over the very sharp points, safety first! Easy to wash by hand, we won't be putting it in the DW. This little toot is not limited to veggies but can be used for anything you want to hold down while cutting. Great price for a much-needed tool. We are very happy with our purchase.

This works wonderfully! Such a simple idea that makes cutting onions SO MUCH EASIER and your hands don't smell like onions! It's the second thing I've bought this holiday cooking season that I wish I had known existed before. Very low price for great quality, the needles (not sure what to call them) that hold the onion are very firm metal, not flimsy, and I think it will last a very long time.

Hefty, comfortable in the hand vegetable holder for slicing vegetables. This will allow me to make even slices as mine tend to start out thin and once almost through the vegetable they tend to get thicker. I will be able to make quite thin or even more generous sized slices depending on the position of my knife blade within the tines. A quick dip into soapy dishwater and a few swipes with a dish brush and it will be clean. The included little sleeve for the sharp tines is appreciated when time to store, too.

Good to use

What a winning invention!!! I forget that I have it until my eyes start watering. Not only does it allow quick slicing but it seems to stem the tide of tearing up. I use it to slice my onion and then rotate the onion and cut through again - diced onions! It seems well construction and is invaluable for facilitating cooking. Yes!! I highly recommend this durable kitchen helper!!!

Works well. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but great for people with limited strength or coordination, as you're cutting well away from your fingers.

A great product. Keeps fingers well away from the knife, offers even slice width and crazy fast, so no chance for watery eyes!

It’s a good sturdy product, but practical usage is limited, we barely remember using it. Only when you need perfect slices, you could use it but use with a lot of patience.
