After around two years, and only 4 basic apple pencil nibs (with very regular use), I'm finally retiring this screen protector. I would buy it again if it were available, but unfortunately I'll have to settle for another. It gives a nice light paper feel for the apple pencil, eliminates harsh glaring, doesnt mess with the apple pencil connection much (Though there are some odd issues the occur when you use a worn down nib, including wobbly and disconnected lines when drawing). Fits an IPad air 5 very well without obstructing the camera, and due to the tempered glass coming in a solid sheet, if you've taken the proper steps cleaning the screen, surroundings, and make sure to be careful when installing, it's an absolute breeze! And don't worry if you mess it up a bit-if it's not fully down to the screen, you can remove it carefully and redo it! Ive kept my IPad without a case on it due to previous issues I've had with them, and thankfully this has done it's job properly! Wouldn't recommend keeping electronics without cases if you're clumsy like me, but it's survived being dropped and tossed(lightly) around in my bag! Sad to see it go, but very happy with this product!

Order arrived in a protected box, easy to install using the frame provided, better than using the guiding stickers of other brands. Fit's perfectly on an iPad Air 5 2022, almost too perfect, my Fintie case sometimes lifts one of the corners so I have to be careful. Responsiveness is not affected to fingers or with the off brand Apple Pencil I'm using. Screen sharpness is not affected, or at least not as much as with plastic matte screen protectors, but then again it's not as smooth or as non reflective either and you can still see fingerprints at a certain angle. Even though I can see the spots where my thumbs are rubbing when playing COD mobile, it's not as bad as it was before I installed it. So basically it's a halfway screen protector between a clear glass and a plastic matte screen type. If you need absolute sharpness in your screen, go for a clear glass protector, if want full smooth non reflective non fingerprint, go for a plastic matte type. If you want the best of both, go for this one. I did and I'm glad with my purchase.

** update: I used the screen for the whole school year and it has done well. My Apple Pencil tip didn’t deteriorate at all. However the screen gets dirty easily and it’s a bit harder to clean with just a microfiber cloth. I had to use the 2nd screen because I dropped my iPad and that when I really noticed how dirty my screen was even though I clean it often. The screen is pretty thick like normal glass screens. I chose this screen over other ones I’ve seen since they claim that this screen doesn’t ruin the Apple Pencil as much as others since the surface is smoother which I was looking for. It writes pretty smoothly and comfortably with the Apple Pencil compared to the naked glass screen, but if you really want a rough “paper like” experience this is not the one for you. It was easy to install; you just put the frame on the iPad and peel the sticker from the screen and apply it facing down. The hardest and most annoying part however was the cleaning the iPad part. They give you 2 guide stickers (which you don’t even need) and 1 dust sticker for each of the 2 screens. The dust sticker is terrible, it got rid of the dust, but it left sticker marks ( from the adhesive) on the screen and I had to clean it multiple times but it still didn’t get rid of the sticker marks. So I had to use another dust sticker that I have from another screen protector that I used for my laptop and it worked must better than the sticker this supplier provided. The dust sticker this supplier used is a bit too thick and is sensitive to pressure compared to the other sticker I used. I just got this so I will probably update months later to see how the screen works out with the pencil and all.

First, I want to start off that this specific product is not at all what I meant to order. So pay extra close attention to the product name, folks! But I have to leave a five-star review, not only because the product is great, but because customer service by the seller was amazing! I ordered the incorrect product, completely my own fault, and they worked with me quickly to get the correct product I needed. Either way, this particular brand of matte screen protectors is good for what you pay for. This brand makes my iPad screen feel like a Kindle, which is what I mostly wanted it for - reading. There is still a slight fuzzy glare if you’re reading or watching in direct light, but it’s not nearly as bad as it would be with a glass screen protector. This specific product comes with a plastic rim to place around the iPad to help with installation, but the new one I needed did not. Installation was fairly simple, though. Just pay close attention to your edges and corners and it goes on extremely easy.

I ordered this in November 2022 and have been using it on my iPad since then (it's currently Aug. 2024) without issue. I was able to install it without any air bubbles or other issues, and it's held up since then without peeling or developing new air bubbles. It does a good job of reducing glare. The primary reason I got this specific screen protector was because I mostly use my iPad to make art. I didn't like how slippery the Apple pencil felt against the bare screen, and a lot of reviews on the paperlike screen protectors mentioned that the texture wore down the nib on the pencil. I took a chance on a matte screen protector as a sort of in-between option, and I'm glad I did. The matte adds just enough texture to where the screen doesn't feel super slippery with the pencil, but not so much texture that my nib is getting worn down. I'm happy to report that after almost two years of use, both the screen protector and my Apple pencil look the same as they did on day one. :) I would recommend this screen protector both in general and as an alternative to the textured paperlike ones.

I bought this one in particular to avoid glare and fingerprints. The quality is great when it comes to durability. I just accidentally dropped my iPad without a case (about 4 feet high) and it landed face down. I panicked because I’ve had it less than a week and shattered my mini’s screen a while back. I was expecting a completely cracked screen and regular screen damage as well. Nope! Minimal damage to the protector and that was it! I’m so thankful! It was easy enough to put on, fits perfectly, and was able to protect my screen! Will definitely order from them again if needed. You can see prints and smudges on the screen but it’s not as bad as a regular screen protector.

From the installation video, it seems like every other screen protector that is a thin film. However, it is not. It is a solid piece of plastic that has a slightly sticky side. Therefore, since I was expecting a film, I started peeling the thin film off the slightly sticky side of the plastic piece, and quickly realized I was destroying the screen protector. Luckily there are two included. The second one I lined up with the frame as I installed it like the video, basically just lying the plastic piece on top of the screen and watching as it slowly adhered to the screen. I had to pry up a corner to remove a speck of dust that fell on the screen just as I was applying the protector. It came up with some difficulty, but adheted fine (if a tiny bit off center) when I removed the dust with the included sticker. The screen is slightly dimmer through the protector, but since there is no reflection or glare, I don't think I'll have to turn up the brightness much. The touch seems to work fine. I mainly bought this to reduce reflection and fingerprints and so far it is doing both. I just wish the video had been more clear that the protector was a piece of hard plastic that sticks to the screen, not a film.

Let me start by mentioning that the installation process is super simple and the results are almost certainly perfect thanks to the provided frame. What truly amazed me is the final look. The matte look and feel are unusual, maybe not ideal for movies, but it definitely removes the typical glare of the screen and traditional screen protectors. And fingerprints? Forget about them. For what it is worth, definitely a game-changer for me!!!

I’m quite happy with the screen protector. They arrived in good condition and I had no issues installing it. One small section around the camera cutout didn’t seem to stick, tried a few times to fix it and then decided just to leave it as it wasn’t on the screen area but the edge. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and usually something like that would drive me crazy but I haven’t even thought about it, don’t even notice it. I purchased this matte finish glass because I was hoping that it would be a little paper-like, give me a bit of grip with the Apple Pencil but not be so rough on the nibs. Might have a little grip but not much. Still it’s ok and I’m quite happy with it. I don’t find it distorts anything and it hasn’t affected the touch - don’t need to press any harder. I don’t have face recognition so can’t say anything about that.
