Large Cast Iron Ash Can

Just received the ash can, first impression was wow! very impressed with the quality of the product, fits perfectly in the BGE mini max. I have no doubt that this product will last for many years to come. Will update if I experience any issue. This will make cleaning up ten time easier.

I like that this has a handle. It's heavy cast iron and will make ash cleanup a breeze. It is well made and fits perfectly in my BGE MiniMax.

This product is a quality made cast iron pot that fits perfectly in my smoker/grill. Making clean up easy.

Great idea for ease of clean up. Fit perfect in large Green Egg. The fire grate fit like a glove. The only reason I, myself, didn’t give 5 stars is for a personal reason only. I use an ash basket and even with the handle removed the basket will not sit flat and allows rocking unless propped against wall of egg. This is due to where the handle attaches. It is minimal with handle removed and is still very usable but just not a perfect fit. I’m sure there is a way to reconfirm the outside rim in order to attach handle in a different way where an ash basket will fit flush. Do this and it would be more than 5 stars! Overall I am still very pleased and would definitely recommend to others with a large green egg, especially those that do not use an ash basket.

Great clean up solution for Big Green Egg (Medium sized). Make sure you get the right size. Easy to use. Make sure you thoroughly clean your ceramic smoker before adding this device. After you finish cooking or smoking your meats, poultry or whatever you desire, just whisk the ashes and charcoal bits that in the bottom of your cooker and safely dump them in your disposal bin or waste can. Obviously, ensure the ashes are cold first.

The transaction was great, but... The bail used for lifting the cast iron ash can is raised above the rim so the ash basket I purchased will not sit flush on top, instead it wobbles back and forth. The Ash Can pictured when I purchased it has a raised rim and recessed bail. that is why I chose this one. Is it possible to get one like that pictured when I ordered it.

A must have for your grill. Works perfectly, fit perfectly and it wasn’t too heavy. Well worth the money to make your life easier. Don’t know why I didn’t order this sooner.

Order and delivery were fine but in the text it said it was for the big green egg but the size is totally wrong. Pitty so had to return it
