does this product work in dettering woodpeckers?

I don't believe so. This unit accomplished absolutely NOTHING when I purchased it to chase away sparrows, pigeons, etc. At some point it actually ATTRACTED them to the speakers! Doves would land and walk right up to them! I returned it. The easiest and smartest method to get rid of any pest bird is to remove the reason they are at your location - ie: food, shelter and the like. I purchased a "Bird B Gone RFLT-1 Reflect-a-Bird Deterrent" from Amazon ($49 but others sell for as much as $75). This unit WORKS and we haven't had a bird on our roof since. Hope this helps. John

It is possible to have ASIN B001Q8QALS with ac adapter 220 v? In BIRD-X site the product is available with such power requirements (workable in Italy)

This unit does NOT repel birds...it actually attracts them. I sent it back for a full refund.
