Whatever function I use, this unit shuts down every 15 minutes. Anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like you are inadvertently using the sleep timer; check the instruction manual to cancel the function. Usually, if you press the sleep timer button repeatedly until 00 displays, then system should be fine. Hope this helps.
