Easy to install
We needed a mantle to protect our new TV from the heat. This one came really fast and was very easy to install. It’s a nice piece of wood; however, the side that shows the wood grain and looks MUCH better was the side they put holes into. I will have to stain it this summer. The top looks awful. The color almost just one solid color on the top. Nothing like the picture (except the bottom). I’m disappointed but I won’t return because it serves the purpose.

Pleasantly Surprised
After installing this above our fireplace to be used as a mantel, my wife and I are pleasantly surprised with it. You just don't know what to expect sometimes. But this is very solid and well constructed. It looks very nice. Instructions were good, although I did a lot more measuring and double-checking than the instructions mention. The installation hardware is very good quality, and it even came with a level. All in all we are very pleased with the product.

Good quality - lots of holes to drill.
Good quality and happy with my purchase! Be prepared to drill like 12 holes into your fireplace but this bad boy is goin NOWHERE!

Easy to Install
It is a mantel above my TV. Easy to install but I had to drill a hole in the back of the shelve to run cables. I knew I had to do this. Only wish it came a little wider, 10" would be great.
