Hollywood Fashion Temporary Hem Tape

I was looking for an easy & inexpensive way to temporarily hem a dress for a wedding without having to go to a tailor. This tape is easy to use & no ironing required - worked fantastic !

I had to last minute hem a dress and this worked really well. Not a single one came off and even if I had to readjust one, I was able to peel it off and reapply perfectly. You could see somewhat see where it was placed through the fabric, but it was barely noticeable and no one could tell what it was thinking it was natural.

I used this as hem tape for medium-heavy trousers for the day. It worked well for this application. The individual strips make it easy to put on and the backing peels off reasonably easily - might need tweezers if you have no fingernails. At the end of the day, the tape also came off without much problem. However, I had a lot of difficulty opening the tin container, asked for help, and my helper also had trouble. It is difficult to grip the top of the container separately from the bottom. I felt that I would break fingernails if I kept at it and ended up smashing the tin with a hammer and then placing the strips in a baggie for safe-keeping.

I used this to add a temp hem to a rented dress. The tape was easy to apply and stayed on all evening. It was very easy to remove the next day and left no residue.
