I saw my friend post this camera case and asked her for the link. I didn’t realize she had the Canon G7X but i decided to give it a shot for my Powershot Sx740 HS and i’m so glad I did!! I usually have my camera in my purse and I noticed it was starting to get some small scratches so I wanted something to put it in. My camera has a wrist strap, even tho I know it’s secure I was always scared one day it’s just going to snap and accidentally drop my camera but with this case I know it’s safe! The leather is thick, sturdy, and really well-made! I think it’s worth the money! To close it, a snap one but still very protected! I’m honestly really happy with this purchase & it worked out perfectly for my camera!

Fits my camera perfectly, good quality.

I used this case attached to my belt for month long trip to France and Greece. It was worn every day, and worked great. The camera fits perfectly in this case, but no room for anything else. Extra battery and spare SD cards need to be carried separately (not a problem for me.) it gives great instant access to the camera, no fussing with zippers or buckle, which I needed. The downside of that, however is that the camera is a little vulnerable to theft. I wore my belt and the case under a long vest. I'm not sure that I would have been comfortable out and about in crowded areas with this case out in the open. It would easy for someone to open the case and slip the camera out, as the case is only held shut with a magnet. That magnet is a little weak, and a little difficult to secure. You have to fidget around with it a little to make sure it's snapped shut. Still, for me it worked fine. I would recommend it if it fits with your itinerary, needs, and wardrobe. I did not use the strap, but it seems to me that it's a good one.

I bought this to protect my Canon G7X mark ii. It’s a perfect fit, feels very high-quality for the price, and I love the strap. It’s easy to access my camera when needed but I don’t worry about it falling out. The hard sides make me feel better about having the camera in a purse or bag.
