Light where needed under kitchen counter.
Love these lights where we wish we had hard wired for undercounter. They have done a good job in areas where they frequently turn -on. After several years however, we have had to replace them as they don't hold their charge as long and require more frequent charging. Their brightness is good and easy to mount.

Worked well for a couple years. Then failed.
Product has failed after intermittent use over three years. Sensor behaves erratically. Light flickers. Battery won’t hold a charge.

You light up my life!
These work perfectly! They look great under my kitchen cabinets and charge lasts a long time with the movement sensor. I will be purchasing more of these. Very sturdy as well.

Great for Simple, Cordless Lighting
I needed something simple to light up the bar in my man cave. I tried LED rope lights before, but they were too tricky to install cleanly. These motion sensor lights were a much better solution—cordless, easy to mount, and rechargeable. The motion activation works, though it’s not as sensitive as I’d like. Still, it does the job. The rechargeable feature is a big plus. With moderate use (sometimes weeks without turning on), the battery lasts about 5–6 months before needing a recharge. Charging does take a while, but the included cables work fine. Installation is super easy thanks to the self-adhesive metal plates and magnetic mounts. It makes removing them for charging quick and hassle-free. Overall, these lights are a great value and I’d definitely buy more if needed. Pros: -Cordless and rechargeable -Easy to install and remove -Long battery life (5–6 months with light use) -Clean, modern look Cons: -Motion sensor could be more sensitive -Charging takes a while

After 3 years, still working great. Definite buy.
Pleasant surprise. These work great. I bought the 7.5” warm white version in the spring of 2023 to have a motion detector light in our pantry, and they’ve been perfect. Recharge quickly and easily; light stays on a reasonable time before turning off; magnetic so if you have wire shelving you can just slap them on with no assembly or mounting required; the light is bright and solid (no flickering), and a true neutral warm.

Inconsistent after One Year
Product Review: 3 Stars Seller Tocta Review: 1 star These lights worked great when I first bought them in March 2023. I even bought a second set. They were easy to install and lasted a few days before they got dim and needed to be charged. Charging doesn’t take more than a few hours. Then, a few months later, the lights would stay on while charging even when set off. The motion sensor stopped working. One of the lights would flicker on and off while charging. Then, it wouldn’t last long after charging. I only used the USB charger that came with it. I contacted Tocta, the seller, to ask for a warranty. It’s been two weeks, and we have exchanged 21 messages over Amazon, and I have sent photos. They called me dishonest because they said I kept changing what was and wasn't working and asked me to send the products to them. I initially said all four were malfunctioning, but after charging them to get photos, one started working. As you see in the video, these lights are unpredictable. The one light that does work isn't working well in the video. Like I said, I stopped charging them because they weren’t working correctly. I offered to send a video for more proof, but they asked me to mail it, which would cost me more money. Why would I spend any more money on them? These are great disposables if you want your lights for only a year. However, if you want your products to last longer, I recommend another product from any seller other than Tocta. I will never buy products if I see their name as the seller. I could only upload one video, but you will see how they stay on even when switched off and how dim the lights get within less than 10 minutes, even though they've been charging for almost 8 hours.

Let your light shine!!
I recently purchased the LED Motion Detection Light Bars for my home, and I wanted to share my experience with this product. Overall, these light bars have some great features, but they may not be the best choice if you're looking for under cabinet lighting specifically for ambient light purposes. Let's start with the positives. One of the standout features of these LED light bars is how easy they are to install. With their adhesive backing and compact design, I was able to attach them to the underside of my kitchen cabinets in no time. The installation process was hassle-free, and I appreciated the flexibility in placement options. In terms of light output, these motion detection light bars really shine. Once installed, they provide a bright and focused illumination that is perfect for tasks that require good visibility. Whether I'm preparing meals, working on projects, or even just searching for something in a dark corner, the light bars deliver excellent brightness. The motion detection feature adds convenience by automatically turning on the lights when I enter the area, eliminating the need to fumble for a switch. However, if you're seeking under cabinet lighting primarily for ambient lighting purposes, these LED light bars may not be the ideal choice. The light they emit is quite focused and directed, which means they are better suited for task-oriented activities rather than creating a cozy atmosphere. If you're looking to set a relaxing mood or provide gentle background lighting in your kitchen, these light bars might not meet your expectations. Another aspect worth noting is the lack of a continuous lighting option. The motion detection feature is excellent for conserving energy and extending the lifespan of the batteries, but it means the lights will only stay on for a short period after detecting motion. If you're hoping to have under cabinet lighting that remains on for ambient light throughout the day or evening, these light bars might not be the right fit. To summarize, the LED Motion Detection Light Bars offer ease of installation and provide exceptional brightness for task-oriented activities. They are perfect for illuminating specific areas in need of extra light. However, if you're searching for under cabinet lighting that creates ambient light or if you prefer a continuous lighting option, you might want to explore other alternatives. Overall, considering their ease of installation and impressive brightness, these LED light bars are a reliable choice for targeted illumination. Just be aware of their limitations when it comes to providing ambient lighting.

Good lights, good mounting, terrible battery life
These lights were the highest rated LED lights listed for "under counter" lighting with motion sensors. Unfortunately, they are not fit for that purpose. In reality, these are meant to be general purpose pantry and closet types of lights which are rarely triggered by the motion sensor, as their battery capacity just isn't high enough to justify installing them in a kitchen. I will give them credit where credit is due (hence the 2 stars instead of 1): the lights installed just fine. The mounts work great, the light they produce is excellent, and the motion sensors work as expected. But the terrible battery life is a deal breaker for me. At first I was thrilled with the lights. I charged them up when I got them (they have a nice color LED for charging with RED showing charging, and GREEN showing fully charged) then installed them the next day. The mounts install with a double-sided 3M-like tape which has a firm hold (although I am sure it will give up the ghost after 6-9 months based on my experience with similar tapes). The light units then magnetically snap into the mount and are ready to go. The lights only have 3 modes: On / Off / Motion Sensor (labeled "G" for some inexplicable reason that I am sure makes sense to whatever factory in China made them). The problem is that kitchens are high traffic areas. Even someone living alone is going to hit that room at least twice a day, and generally when in the kitchen when preparing a meal, even a simple microwave meal, one will be in there for at least 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes will mean your motion will be triggering the under cabinet lights almost constantly. Which is kind of the point, right? That was why I wanted the lights, and I would assume most people would want them for the same reason -- if in the area the lights are installed, motion should trigger them and they should stay more or less on. Mine, all of them, failed after only 4 days installed. They only have 4 days of battery life. And they do not charge quickly. It takes them pretty much over night to charge back up to full charge (I haven't timed it, but I plugged them in several hours before bed, and they still had changed from RED-charging, to GREEN-done in that time). So, if you live alone and make very limited trips to the kitchen, these lights MAY last a whole week before needing to be recharged. If you are married or have kids? Forget it. You will be lucky to make it to 4 days. That means every 4 days or so you will have to pull these lights down and charge them overnight to keep them operational. That is FAR MORE maintenance than I was expecting, ESPECIALLY for LED lights (which are supposed to be power sipping lights compared to incandescent). Nowhere in the product description does it say the lights have battery performance this poor. And it isn't that I got a bad set. I ordered 4 sets of these (each set has 2, so 8 of them total), and ALL of them are behaving the same way. I was expecting, at most, to have to charge the lights once a MONTH, not twice a week. I will be sending these back, and the search shall continue for proper under cabinet LED lights where the manufacturer didn't cheap out on the battery.
