Great chefs knife-would buy again.
Absolutely a great chefs knife. Very sharp out of the box, great balance and feel in the hand. I have a few Henckels but this is the first Four Star. (Actually a gift to my son but of course, I had to try it out...) Bonus-got it on sale on Amazon. 7" chef is just right for utility knife stuff and big enough to cut watermelon and pineapples. Chop it, rock it, push or pull cut it, love this knife. (Did I mention it is very sharp.....)

Blemished but will work
I have several swilling knifes and I am always happy with their construction, quality and balance. Unfortunately this knife has a cut in its grip. While it does not impact the usefulness of the knife and maybe even eventually it might get one after use. I did not expect a new product to come to me blemished.

Great feeling and working chef's knife
My previous knife had some nickel in it and I was clearly allergic, so I wanted a new one. I had my eye on this knife for a long time and the price dipped down to a great price, so I nabbed it. The way this knife is weighted, it makes it so easy to use. It VERY smoothly cuts through whatever I am cutting. Super sharp. Great knife.

Fantastic option. Bargain price for a great service kitchen knife. Quick in hand, holds an edge well, performs like the higher priced 8". Balance feels great.

Top notch cutlery
Henckels Four Star has been at the top of the fine kitchen cutlery world for more than 40 years. I wanted to add another Chef to my block, and this fit the bill perfectly. Treat them well, learn how to true the edge with a steel and don't use crappy "sharpeners"and keep them out of your dishwasher and these will literally last a lifetime.
