Magic Hearts (5) (Candy Fairies)

My seven-year-old niece adores these books, and claims that this one is especially fun to read.Well-written, easy to read, very silly (that's a good thing), with good illustrations.

My daughter was having a hard time finding a series she liked. We saw these Candy fairy books, and she fell in love with them immediately. She has since read the entire series.

8-yr-old granddaughter adores all of these books.

My second grader loves the Candy Fairies series of chapter books as they are about fairies (one of her favorites) and the stories are all fun and engaging. As far as chapter books go, this series makes a great transition from beginning readers to chapter books. The length of the book is about 100 pages long and the chapters are not too short nor long, about ten pages approximately per chapter. This makes this series ideal for young readers who find it difficult to sit still for too long while reading, but be warned, the stories are so fun, your child just might want to finish the book in one sitting, like my daughter!In "Magic Hearts", the story centers around Berry the Fairy. Heart Day is approaching (kind of like Valentine's Day) and instead of making new candy, Berry is spending more time making a new dress. Just when Berry fears she will not have enough time to make new candy, she comes across some wild magic hearts, but a surprise awaits Berry and her friends! There's enough drama here to keep readers ages 6-8 entertained, and the illustrations, though not in color, add visual appeal to the story.

My 6 year old daughter and I love this series. The magical candy land is so fun to read about and imagine. The story has some drama but is not too scary. These books always prove to entertain us, bring smiles to our faces and also bring out my daughter's imagination. Can't wait for the next one!!!
