Enteric-coated tablets
This is TTFD, a thiamine derivative from garlic, and one of the best-absorbed forms of thiamin (B-1), along with alpha lipoic acid, which is one of several vital co-participants with thiamine in the energy-producing cycles of the body. These are enteric-coated tablets, so the contents become available in the intestines, instead of in the stomach. I have seen the greatest reversal of B-1 deficiency symptoms using this form, so, although it is expensive, I shall continue to take it. The manufacturer/ distributor sells a 250-tablet bottle which is much more economical than the 60-tablet bottle offered on Amazon, but their shipping is not very speedy, so I have continued to buy the 60s from Amazon, even though I currently use 6 bottles per month.

Damaging barcode label
Comes with a big amazon barcode label that covers the ingredients and sticks out from the bottle. When you tear it off, part of the original label comes off with it. The price is good for this supplement.
