Big enough to covber a 5 gallon bucket.
We are in a drought, and my wife needs to water her plants and trees. Using our well water wouldn't be advised in these conditions. So, I got the idea to use a submersible pump in the lake out front to help her out. I got this bag specifically to cover a 5 gallon bucket to prevent weeds and debris from clogging my pump. After the first use today, I can say this bag is a winner. Nothing entered the bucket sitting 2.5' down in the lake. The mesh is fine enough to stop anything from getting in to plug the pump. After use, I simply hosed the bag off and it's ready for next time. Very pleased that it worked so well.

Koi Pond Super Effectivie pump filtration - and inexpensive!
This has been a game changer for my Koi pond! It was easy to put together, the pump fits securely within it, and it has been really effective in preventing my pump from getting clogged. As an extra layer of filtration, i added a 24"x by 26" Hecaty filter bagover the unit. It has been a great success so far!!!

Keeps your pump running
My small pond pump was continuously getting clogged - and it required me getting filthy trying To clean it and get the thing running again- This is a great idea because it keeps the debris from jamming the pump and the durable netting is easy to clean- so I think it’s a great product.
