COURANT SNOW CONE MAKER KIT

This is a fun item to have around the house. Our kids love snow cones but buying a cup of flavored ice for the whole family all the time seems silly when we have perfectly good ice at home! We make our own syrup with concentrated juices so it's a bit healthier too. This is very self explanatory- put ice in, push down and it comes out the bottom. I do think that it's a little fiddly at times (ice comes out to one side more than the other, you push down and if it's not lined up right it doesn't work) but the issues are not major or prohibitive to using the machine so we're happy with our purchase and would do it again.

I bought this in December and it is already broke, only used 10-15 times. It does not do a good job shredding the ice, it basically breaks off chunks around 3/8 of an inch, the crushed ice from my freezer creates about the same size ice. When it did work it constantly stopped working while shaving the ice, I had to keep pulling the top part out to get it to work. I would steer clear of this product it is not good at what it is supposed to do.

I bought one of these for my house about 2 years ago and it worked great then I got one for my moms house and it jams constantly and will not shave the ice. I am not sure if we just got a bad one or what but it takes 30 mins to shave some ice cause it keeps jamming!

I bought this snow cone maker for my 9 year old granddaughter, she was so excited excited to get this for her birthday! It worked great the first couple of times and now it doesn't even cut the the ice

A year later and it still works!

I really love it. the button on top to run it got stuck once so far but I got it working a gain. It stops when the ice gets low. I can have icees or slushies anytime!

Had a Jelly Belly Snow Cone Maker that died after a few months. We think this one is better than the last. Makes better "snow" too!

Does not produce the snow-like shaved ice like a commercial snow cone vendor. If you like crunchy crushed ice, you have strong teeth and enjoy ice chips, it works well.
