En campo abierto puede que merezca la pena, pero para casa, si hay un par de paredes por medio, no llega la señal. No lo recomiendo para uso en casa

The product was a disappointment - until I figured out how to use it. One simple and essential product information is missing - the input volume should be set at maximum. I by chance found that out while I was scrambling for optimal output. What happens is this. If the input volume is not sufficient, the device fills it up with static sound. When that happens, I also found out another unwritten feature - the output can be captured at two frequencies, one is a barely stereo output with static at the preset, and another clear but low volume mono output at an adjacent frequency. This is why one of the customers review said "only mono audio, no stereo". Once you bump up input volume, the static disappears and you get clear stero output with no lag. I always prefer gadgets that run on replaceable batteries. That way, you will never have to throw it away just because it is out of chargeing cycles. And this is the best in this category. Oh by the way, it runs on two AAA (900mAh) rechargeable batteries for about six solid hours. Again, pl remember, for optimal performance, the input volume must be set at maximum. I am using a single AAA battery operated Sony over-the-ear wearable FM receiver which is great for watching TV using this FM transmitter.

I have been playing with itty-bitty FM and AM transmitters for years, both kit and preassembled, and this one is the best performer and simplest to operate of all the FM units that I have tried. I originally bought it for our COVID19-related parking lot church services, and now have also bought one for myself. PROS 1.) BIG PLUS - it comes with FCC certification. I checked the FCC site, and the number is legitimate. The test-related documentation is downloadable and printable. Of course, the certification is not valid if the unit is modified in any way. For example, don't try to add leads for an external battery, which would have the same effect as adding an external antenna. 2.) Very simple to set up and operate. Install batteries, plug the short cable into your audio line-level signal source, and turn on the power switch. Then press the button on the front until it displays the frequency you want to use. There are 20 possibilities. 3.) Strong signal; easily covers a legally allowed area size. On first try, ours went way beyond what I expected, probably because we put it outside about 8 feet up on a pole and fed the audio to it through a long cable, which may have acted as an antenna. To limit the coverage area, we lowered and relocated it. It now seems to cover the church parking lot solidly, but the signal dies quickly as you leave our property, which is what we want it to do. 4.) Excellent audio quality, and it is true stereo, if your input signal is in stereo. 5.) Value for $$ spent, although this is a bit iffy, since there is a wide range of prices that sellers are charging. CONS None so far. I can't yet rate it for longevity or battery life, which Scosche claims is 15 hours of continuous operation. As for how long it will last, time will tell. BE AWARE - this is NOT a Bluetooth transmitter. It works on the FM broadcast band only. There are sites which compare it to "upgrade" models, but since most of those are 12-volt models without power cables that plug directly into car cigarette lighters/power outlets, they aren't really comparable. This one seems to be in a class of its own as far as configuration goes. I would highly recommend it for ease of use, audio quality, and FCC certification.
