Himalayan Salt Lamp with USB Plug

While I truly appreciate modern technology and medicine - I am also a firm believer in the wonderful qualities of natural and holistic products; both have a great deal of intrinsic value and can bring so much goodness to our lives.I purchased this Himalayan Salt Lamp, as I suffer from anxiety - which often leads to an inability to fall asleep or relax properly. Additionally, my allergies this year have gone simply haywire - it seems like every day I am battling a stuffy nose, itchy eyes and sneezing.Even if you are in the camp that salt lamps are for looks only, this lamp does not disappoint...it is truly gorgeous. However, I have personally found that since I have put this lamp in my bedroom, I am not only sleeping better - but I am also feeling much more balanced and improved in regards to my mood.This produces a soft and warm amber light - so pleasant in comparison to traditional and harsh florescent lighting. For my clumsy nature, it also serves as a handy "nightlight" - which keeps me from tripping over the dogs sleeping on the floor, the bedframe (that really hurts the shins, let me tell you!) or the laundry which I have yet to put away because I can't muster the willpower to do so!My personal experience is that Himalayan salt lamps and the negative ions they emit are extremely beneficial - I truly do feel so much better since I have brought this beauty into my home. For such an economical price, it is definitely worth trying out! Even if you decide you don't feel any different...well, you still have a gorgeous lamp and conversation starter, which did not cost you any more than a traditional lamp. There really is no way you can lose here. =)I highly recommend this Himalayan Salt Lamp to anyone who has been on the fence about ordering one - it is definitely a five star product and I absolutely love it!

I saw this little salt lamp and had to grab 2! It is small, standing about 4-5 inches tall. It uses a USB cord to power up so you will need either a converter to plug into the wall or a nearby USB port. The lamp itself is beautiful. It is a soft pink and when lit glows softly. It is perfect for smaller places, we have one by our computer and the other in our spare bathroom. It also serves as a nightlight for my little boy. I have noticed a lighter, more clean air when we close the door, then reenter that room later. I would definitely recommend!

I had never heard of a Himalayan Salt Lamp before until my friend told me about them. She said they cleanse and purify the air which is good for my allergies. It's supposed to emit negative ions into the air which produces a positive effect. So far, so good. And I love te way it looks!

I love this. My salt lamp looks just like the picture on the the product description. The kids were all curious if it really was salt. It is just like a livestock salt lick. It is salt. The light inside does not put out lots of light, but a dim and soothing amount of light. I do not use it every day, but just when soothing and calming is what I need. I am very excited with my purchase.
