I used this on an irregular flagstone patio where the joints varied quite a bit, and it worked exactly as advertised. The application was straightforward, cleanup was easy, and the finished joints look clean and professional. After curing, everything stayed in place even after a few heavy rainstorms. I’d definitely use it again if a future DIY project arises.

Our first time using Romex. Have been researching for months and decided on Romex Easy, Followed direction carefully and application was a breeze! Didn’t order enough, so had to reordered but color was now not available. Found Romex eco fine in color needed and decided to use this product to complete project. Eco-fine just as easy to apply; different process (had to keep very wet; but this made application easy and it compacted more easily. A bit cy of a project but it looks great; hardened like concrete and water drains through it just as advertised. Just hoping it will last through NE PA seasons in future….fingers crossed:).

The product performed as advertised and was easy to work with, so I have no complaints about its application or finish. However, I only used about half of the bag and stored the remaining material in the original packaging. After just a few days, the leftover compound had hardened completely and became unusable. As a result, I had to throw away nearly half of the product, which felt like a waste of money. While the compound itself works well, the storage life after opening was disappointing. For that reason, I'm giving it 2 stars.

Love this product!! I used to have DG between my flagstone joints and was tired of pulling weeds and dealing with the washout. I installed the Rompox in November and it is now almost April and I have not had one weed pop through. No washout or cracking either! Looks great and was super easy to install. I highly recommend this product for any DIYer looking for something other than DG or concrete.

This product, while convenient, ends up being very pricey. We had figured that one box would cover our entire patio - per the description - but it ended up not stretching very far. Three boxes in, and we had spent way more on the project than we had figured. It's a wet sand texture and needs lots of smoothing. It never gets hard, so we imagined our weeds coming back up through the cracks. MIght be good for a tiny project, but we ended up 'paving over' it with actual cement and are happier with the more permanent finish of actual cement.

It’s not difficult to use but it only lasts up to a year. I’ve used it twice now on a rock terrace that the mortar hasn’t held up well. For the price and the ease of application it’s a good product. B

Very expensive found similar product for 1/8 of the price and installed much cleaner as well.

My husband and I love Rompox Easy Bucket by Romex. We used the grey colour for our walkway and loved it so much that we decided to use it on our back patio. We've had a number of different products on our flagstone patio over the years, but nothing seemed to last. This is by far the best! It was so easy to use, and was ready to walk on in 24 hours. It's amazingly durable but at the same time it's so beautiful. Hosing off the patio is a joy now, and there are no weeds! I am so happy with the results. If I was able to give it a 10, I would!

Easy to use. Do the preparation properly, get a decent thickness and it dries rock hard and is permeable too.

Very easy to apply and very very solid after it is set. Will see for the next season if the weeds can penetrate through or grow on top. But so far looks much more effective than typical polymeric sand

Used this product to create a paving stone fireplace area in my backyard. I'm satisfied with the result. It's been 2 to 3 weeks and it's sustained two raining downpours without suffering in any noticeable way. I would recommend this product. Took away one star because it's a bit expensive and needed three packs to get the job done.
