So adorable and gets the Burger Time craving satisfied!
I really love it! The classic shape and how accurate the game is. And I really don't mind the small screen, I think it works just fine. I appreciate the little rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from moving around on a flat surface. The sound is clear and can be turned down or put headphones in. I plan to get an actual game console in bigger form down the line but for now this reasonably priced game is working great for me until then.

Really cool little gift idea
This is one of the coolest mini arcades I've seen. I wish more of these were made where they go the extra step to make the game a little more authentic to the original experience. The mirror effect is simple, but still looks cool and Space Invaders is one of those games that's really easy to kick on and play whenever you want so having it sit next to you on your desk is nice

its Kind of fun
Technically it is as described but make no mistake this is a TINY screen! the game is quite challenging and the tiny screen makes it harder because its really hard to see if you cleared a ladder to move to the side. Its still a fun game, just be aware that it is EXTREMELY tiny. Also really difficult to play. No save, and no continues. Now I remember where all my quarters went!

Should have bought this WAY sooner!
I wish I hadn’t put this one off for so long. I have been collecting MyArcade micro players for years and this one was in my list for a while now but after getting it and playing it, a game I NEVER played in an arcade or growing up, that I am actually pretty good at it and have grown to love playing this more than others. Very well constructed and the design is classic like the original, with an illuminated background with a two way mirror in front for the rear facing screen to project off. It’s visually stunning for such an early arcade machine. This little thing is by far the best and most accurate MyArcade player to date. This actually has me wanting to give the real thing a shot the next time I go to my local arcade. Simply put it’s simply fun. *If you’re wondering, YES this game is programmed like the og with a possible 300 pts shot on the first UFO of every level if hit on the 23rd shot from start of level, then every following 15th shot in that same level. You can rack up some quick points if you get good at that.

Love the game but... dissapointed I bought like new and the batteries don’t work
Love Burger Time and when I saw a friend get Galaga I had to see what else was out there. And was super stoked to get one of my favorite childhood games. I unfortunately ordered like new from another seller on amazon and my battery option doesn’t work. (I’ve tested with batteries directly from my friends Galaga game) For the game piece itself independent from the battery issue: It’s exactly like the Burger Time I’m used to. Got the little pepper shaker button and everything. The little joystick took some getting used to (I still find it slightly tricky to go right and left sometimes but that adds to the challenge.) Sound can be turned down or off. (Plus in an office environment) Graphics are pretty great for the size. Perfect for some old school arcade fun at breaks at work. *only wish was that it could keep track of scores, but that’s not a negative just icing on the top.

Fantastic bang for your buck Space Invaders original arcade experience!
As an old school arcade game player, I really appreciate and am grateful for all the hard work the My Arcade team put into this premium edition of their Space Invaders handheld! It duplicates the original Space Invaders experience so very well. Even the semi-reflective space background effect is well replicated here. They also use the original arcade ROM so the play experience is spot on. While the speaker is a little soft, that does not detract from a fantastic experience. This is highly recommended for its build and design quality, original arcade playability, and overall attention to detail. I really hope My Arcade will continue to produce more premium units as they are really great. Sure, the cabinet design is not exactly perfect. You can look into the Numskull's premium effort...and pay 5 times the price for it. But, this is such a great value for what you pay for. Again, highly recommended!

I remember seeing Space Invaders for the first time when it first appeared back in the late 70's. At the time it was groundbreaking and became a massive hit. All these years later and now you can buy your own fully working mini replica of the real thing. I reckon it must be around a tenth scale and appears to have virtually all the features where possible found on the real cabinet. The buttons have a nice feel and it seems to be made of good quality plastic. It's an official Tatio product as well. The screen is supposed to replicate the back-lit mirrored effect seen in some machines and it does a good job of that although it does seem to sit further back inside the cabinet. You can power it by 4 AA batteries or by USB. One point to make is that although it will record the high score ( as in the real machine) it is lost once the power is switched off. A bit of a pity there isn't a backup battery. I think it looks good as a decorative retro item even if you don't play on it. There are a number of these mini arcade machines appearing now but this seems to be the best so far.

Space Invaders is my favourite mini arcade from My Arcade. I was very surprised at how realistic it looks and sounds. The moonscape looks wonderful with the invaders floating above it. The mini arcade is a bit harder to play because of the small screen and controls, but it's still a lot of fun. The batteries last a long time, but the micro USB port is a better option. When battery power is too low, the marquee lights flicker and the ship randomly moves and fires.

Authentic feel of a space invaders arcade, just dont expect to play qlot on this. It will mostly collect dust on your shelf but it is a masterpiece, especialy since the screen is done like it was in the original arcade version
