Haven’t tried to put them in the dishwasher

Are they wide enough for boba (tapioca) drinks?

They are wide enough for a fairly thick smoothie. I am not sure if tapioca is passable since a smoothy isn't chunky.

Are those straws all made in polypropylene?

I don't know but they are plastic just like the traditional straws we have known.
