Quality matters and so does design After several near falls with a much more expensive folding cane, I watched a YouTube video comparison with this one piece cane. That Is when I realized that folding canes are a compromise between convenience and stability, For me, stability is paramount. I have severe neuropathy of both feet and hands. So the four widely spaced ‘feet’ on this cane is a godsend. The cane does not wobble on hard surfaces. I suppose that if I planned on walking on uneven terrain I would need a different kind of ‘foot’ - one that flexed. However getting around the house or out shopping, this is exactly the kind of stability I need Turning to the issue of quality. This cane is not the lightest around. The metal of the shaft is much thicker than its competitors; the fasteners are industrial grade. The handle is broader and far more comfortable to grip. When I say the cane is heavier, we are talking about maybe 100 grams or less. Importantly, the shaft does not flex This inspires confidence so that I don’t have to worry about where I put my feet. Finally the price. For less than half of the price of a lighter folding cane, this is a bargain

I found that it would not go low enough for me I am 5ft 1" tall and I found it a little high for me, the worst thing about this cane is the footing although it is made from really good material will last a life time I found the feet were not spread out enough they were too narrow so it tipped easily for someone with a hip replacement that was very determental to my health would prefer if feet were spread out more to balance better
