Hi,For the best care machine-wash cold on a gentle cycle, wash separately,tumble dry low,do not bleach, we have washed many times by this way and the towel was great, don't have lint problem.

I do not know the GSM of this towel as it isn’t in the description, but they are nice. If I had to guess they are in the 400 range. Not the beefiest towel I’ve ever had but there is nothing flimsy about it either.
