I ve been waking up with my eye lashes stuck together. It leaves a sticky material. Has anyone else have this happe?

yes it does leave a sticky feeling but it is a gel and will keep the eyes moist due to dry eye. Your eyes in the long run will feel better

Are there preservatives in this?

Yes, there are preservatives in this. Polyquad is a brand name preservative for Polyquaternium-1. Polyquad is a derivative of BAK and is considered a detergent preservative.

Can you put in refrigerator

I have not put the, in a refrigerator, the label gives a temp. They aren’t to be kept in a hot place.

Why they stop making the gel, idont like the drops. The gel work so good. Couldn't find it in stores anywhere

I feel the same way! The drops are great but sometimes I need something more, i.e. the gel drops they use to sell. The gel drops were discontinued after Alcon bought the company that owned GenTeal. Good news--I recently found the gel drops labeled GenTeal "Severe Day & Night" Gel Drops. I ordered right here on Amazon. But I warn you, I believe the bottle is much smaller than the product before Alcon bought them!
