Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation Light 42

Alright, so even though this shade was too light for me, I gave this product five stars since that error was of my doing. Firstly, it goes on so smoothly and easy to blend. It's a full coverage make up so yes, it does look like you are wearing makeup but this product obliterated the red in my face and intermittent break out spots. I applied it with a foundation brush and blended with a beauty sponge. I can't get over how my skin looked and how velvety soft it was to apply. I am totally satisfied with this product, I just intend on buying a darker shade in the future. EDIT: HOLY SMOKES finally found a shade that was perfect for me and omg I am in love. This will be my daily makeup. I have some acne scares and some redness in my face and those completely disappeared. It also conceals the fine line around the eyes. As I said earlier, it goes on brilliantly but a little bit goes a long way! This is my new holy grail of foundations.

I used this to cover up "elderly" bruising on my mother in laws arms for my son's wedding. Worked perfectly! Also, it dried and did not come off until removed with micellar water. I didn't try soap, but it may work also.

Overall the color and thickness is great for my skin and matches my neck coloring well. Though even with primer and Milani fixing spray it still transfers a lot, and it gets onto my hands and wears out in less than 24 hours. I waited at least an hour after getting ready to head out to wear a mask for Covid protection and the makeup wore off of my nose and chin after taking my mask off. My CoverGirl Outlast foundation is much more transfer resistant when wearing a mask in comparison to Lock It. While the CG foundation does transfer it isn't as obvious as Lock It. I will stick with CG for everyday use and KVD for areas that don't get covered with a mask.

I wanted to try a new foundation, something better than the drug store brands I had been buying so I ordered two, Kat VonD Lock-it and Smashbox Always On. I was very disappointed in Kat VonD. thinking she would put as much care in her foundation line as her amazing tattoos. It was way too thick and dried so quickly I could not blend it in properly instead having to apply in patches which leaves it looking splotchy. Also very sticky, my eyelids were actually stuck for half a second when I blinked! Haha! But really it was awful. I do have wrinkles and I know nothing Can really hide a deep wrinkle but this foundation made them much worse, revealing wrinkles I didn’t know I had. The only good thing I can say is, the color was very good. I have very pale skin and it’s hard for me to find anything light enough and non-orangey. I tried with moisturizer and primer together and separate and this foundation and my skin do not get along. The Smashbox Always On is 5 stars and so glad I have found this one. Great match for my pale skin, medium coverage which can be layered, glides on so evenly blendable, no sticky gluey feel and while it doesn’t hide wrinkles, it doesn’t accentuate them either. Perfect for me.

I have used kat von d lock for years now, I am not sure if this was a real Kat Von D product.. Out of the bottle it was kind of thin and not like what I have gotten from Sephora before. It took a lot to cover, and it also smudged as well as I had on a makeup sealer. Before when I washed my face it took a lot to remove but this came off so easy..

I am pretty much a vampire and rarely go out in the light. That being said....this is the only foundation that I've found that matches my skin tone. Coverage is amazing and will give your skin that flawless, Photoshopped look. Lasts forever since you don't need that much.

Je pensais que ça cacherai tout mais nope. Vos imperfections ne seront pas complétement couverte par ce produit. Sinon il est doux sur la peau et de bonne qualité. Mais je dirais que c'est une bb cream.

Mi trovo benissimo con questo fondotinta, ho trovato finalmente la tonalità giusta ed è molto coprente, riesce a nascondere di molto (in confronto ad altri prodotti) i segni dell'acne.

Full coverage, fantastic tone, however, it light be too heavy for dry and sensitive skin. Also, in case of the dry skin, it is likely to enhance all the cavities and uneven parts of the skin. I also tried to mix it with day cream (few different) to get a bit lighter coverage and better moisturizing, but it doesn’t work and looks like dirt. Nevertheless, it is an outstanding colour that can help people who struggle finding teint that is light enough.

Not nice at all it makes you look like your on your death bed also very cake looking and not just that it picks up all your flaws horrible stuff had better in the pound shop tbh
