Will these work on older vehicles with metal clips? I need to remove stainless trim on fenders, quarters, doors on a 62 Cadillac.......

These are a good general tool, but for what you are doing I recommend Steck item #21720. It will wrap around the clip solid, so when you pry you have less chance of it slipping off and damaging the trim panel. The older panels are usually cardboard, and wont take very much stress. The KD tools pliers work well with the newer plastic panels.

How long is the pliers?

I'm not sure what you're asking the overall measurement is 9 3/8" with the tips being a max of 2 1/4 " these are strictly made for popping loose door panel clips and the like such as the old type plastic clips that hold on fender panels and such they are very sturdy and work well I myself have used a set since 1988 without any issues . Absolutely perfect for the task

Absolutely perfect, I had struggled to removed the clips on previous tasks and a little worried I may break the plastic moulding, I did a bit of research and this tool kept coming up as the one to have, easy to use simple to operate and not that expensive. Purchased it from the US expecting it to take weeks for delivery, it arrived within a few days, well packaged and ready to use. It’s so simple, if you take your time to locate the forks and use it gently it works perfect every time, be a little cautious when using in the very cold weather as both the fastener and the plastic trim can be a little brittle, it’s one of this tools that requires a gentle approach……. An inexpensive valuable tool that will be handy to have in you toolkit
