Super happy this worked for me. Easily fixes pesky old peeling veneer. Stains well. I'm using it in more places than the original project. Easy to use: Adhesion by heating with an iron is quite effective. On another project, the removal was easy - heating up again with iron. Helpful hint: Make sure its heated over entire strip when removing so that all adhesive comes off. Thickness matched my grandmother's hope chest. So that was a nice success. Worth every penny... so glad I could spend little with massive results.

These are great, they're easy to use, and I've ordered a few more rolls since. They're slightly more than 3/4", so it's perfect to band 3/4" plywood. But I found that the white hot melt glue contrasts with the dark walnut, which tends to show on the final product. So I'm wondering if there is an alternative with a darker glue.

Excellent product, adhesion was excellent. Others complaining about white glue line should work on application technique. After proper het to fully melt glue apply pressure with roller or small wood block until cool to the touch. Move onto another edge. Edging must cool completely before trimming and sanding in with 240-400 sand block inward and on angle eases the edge and will “cut” the glue line completely away. Impressed with this product in Walnut. stained up looking like a solid piece of stock using it on veneer walnut plywood.

I like this banding, it's nice and thick, the adhesive is good and overall it's easy to work with. There is one issue you folks may want to be aware of, I'm not sure how long it really is but I hope they added about half a foot in order to be able put their advertising label and shipping tape on because for the first several inches the adhesive residue from those sticky labels and tape makes that part unusable. If they didn't consider this and don't add what they destroy, you will not get exactly what you paid for. IMO, if you pay for 30 ft of something you must receive the full length. Period. Adding an advertising g label is fine, just replace what you destroy with that label.

Beautiful. Don’t usually write reviews, but this was so easy to use and worked great. My first “veneer project” and turned out amazing. Love that it’s made in USA. Adhered easily. Would buy again. Some before and after pictures.

Nice walnut edge banding and perfectly sized for 3/4” plywood. Adhesive is strong and the product was easy to iron on. I would buy again for this vendor.

This stuff is great, I've bought many rolls of every size they make. The bigger 3" rolls often have a lot of figuring and look very nice. Thick, it can take more sanding than the thinner and more expensive walnut edging I've used.

I purchased this edge veneer for a speaker cabinet project. The rest of the cabinet is finished with raw walnut veneers. This product has a nice, even grain and consistent color. As far as color goes, I’d say it’s about 75% light, so 75% of walnut wood is darker than this edging, and 25% of walnut is lighter. For me, this worked well as the darker parts of the grain were towards the center of my panels, and this worked nicely with the lighter wood toward the outer portions of the panels (see photo). The glue layer is a little bit thick, which led to some white lines that needed to be sanded but it cleaned up nicely. Overall I’m very satisfied with this product for what I paid.

Excellent product- First time I’ve ever tried to refinish my kitchen cabinets. The ones next to the dishwasher, the edges of the cupboards needed to be refinished. I scalped off the old chipped veneer and after a light sanding, measured-off new strips of the new walnut veneer. Using a clothes iron, set to linens, I smoothed over the veneer until it was solidly affixed to the cabinet. I used a dark maple Minwax stain- one solid coat was enough to match the existing espresso walnut cupboard- The whole process took under an hour and the cupboards look brand new!

Really nice veneer. Perfect for 3/4 in walnut plywood. Would buy again for sure on another project.
