Steve Warner's books are very well written and the math problems are explained fully with several solutions that offer insights into Math problem solving. Steve Warner books are simply without a doubt the best books out there !!!

I tutor lots of students for the GRE. The GRE Quantitative (math) section is usually the biggest source of frustration and anxiety. Part of this is that students need to build up their skills to be able to answer GRE type questions. The official GRE material (purple ETS workbooks) has the most realistic questions, but the quant questions throw you in the deep end immediately. This makes preparing for the GRE very intimidating. Steve Warner's book has questions arranged by topic and difficulty. Need to start with the easiest geometry questions? Start with level 1 Geometry. Ready to tackle medium difficulty Algebra? You can go right to level 3.The given explanations are also very helpful, and multiple ways of solving questions are provided (an important skill to develop for the GRE).Some of the text/layout isn't always the best for easy reading, but otherwise I am very happy with this book.
