Great Trail Shoe
I wear these when I walk up from 6800 to 7400 elevation of a very rocky trail. The ascent is sharp and has lots of jagged rocks and parts of the trail has rocks that act like marbles, so losing footing and slipping and falling are definites, BUT not in these! I usually hike in Teva sandals, so when I wear these, I have to remember the soles of these are slightly thicker. That's the only adjustment for me.The fit is fine. I have space in the toe box. Cushion is fine. Another plus is the color: It does not show all the dust and dirt of my hikes. In fact, I've worn mine for a week now, and they still look quite new, even though I've gone on several long hikes.Due to age, I've noticed that my feet have expanded, but these are great. I walked a 5-hour hike yesterday, and I had no problems. No mild aches in my feet.I highly recommend these. In fact, I wanted to buy a pair for my daughter, but I can't find her size. I'll keep checking.

Great shoes--just as pictured and fits as expected.
I love Saucony, but was a little reluctant to buy the shoes online. I would hate to get them and not like the way they look on my feet or just not like their appearance in general, as often happens when one tries on a pair of shoes. After I received these, they appeared exactly as in the picture. I put them on and still loved them. I am so happy with the purchase and with the Saucony Excursion TR7 TRail Running Shoe. Surprisingly light weight for a trail shoe, but still with the comfort I expect. Also, the colors of the Grey/Blue/Citron shoe such as I purchases have the muted grey background but also has the electric blue and citron, which allows you to pair with a lot of different clothing items and still feel trendy and noticeable. Love, Love, Love, this shoe.

Great shoes, great customer service
I ordered a pair of these shoes for running/around town and am very happy with them. I love the grey/blue/citron colors, and they are very comfortable for walking and medium-distance running. The foot support is not quite enough for me on long distance runs, but all in all they are a great pair of shoes for the price.I was very disappointed to see one of the seams pulling apart on the toe box of my first pair. This was after only 6 months of light use. However, both Saucony and Amazon were very responsive to my complaint and offered to replace them due to the defect. I received my new pair in the mail yesterday and look forward to many more months of stylish, comfortable footwear!

Great hikers in dry weather--just a little smaller than normal sizing.
I was so thrilled to get my Saucony's. They felt great the first time on. The lacing is easy and the flat laces work great--if I want them loose so I can step in quickly, they hold that bow. If I want them tight for a long walk, they hold that tie. I tend to supinate, and these are perfect shoes for supinators. Although I have a high instep, my strong arches don't demand lofty arch support. Others may want to use inserts. The shoes are not too heavy on, and I had spring in my step for two years of wearing. BUT I have to take off a star for one reason which turned out to be an important one for me. These shoes are meant for trail running, and one can expect some wet conditions when out on a trail. My daily rounds have me walking up a hill that is part grassy, part graveled path, and part cement paver. When it gets wet out, such as morning dew or after a rain, that hill is treachery in these shoes. I felt like I had walked out onto an icy pond in winter--seriously no traction on wet surfaces. And I actually went down into the splits on a cement walk that had been hosed down within the hour. So don't count on traction in wet conditions. I ended up getting some Vasques for rainy weather.

These Shoes Are IT
I've never bought a pair of trail running shoes, but after a LONG extensive jog through the park a week ago I realized my tennis shoes weren't going to cut it, they didn't have any grip and I kept slipping running up and down hills. So I bought these shoes, I've yet to take them out on the trails but I must say the colors are gorgeous, these definitely stand out, my pair is a bit small on my foot. I usually wear a size 9-9.5 but these seem to be tight on my toes, may send them back and get a 10, I just hate waiting because they are extremely comfortable and I need trail shoes NOW. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, 5 stars for me.

Good looking and comfortable shoes
I'm not a fan of the super BRIGHT and flourescent shoes out there...these shoes are fun, but not flashy. Love the grey base and the bit of bright green on the sole and green shoelaces. I've had some compliments on the looks. although the comfort level is most important to me. I wear an orthotic. They fit in these shoes nicely. I usually wear a more structured or rigid shoe - this one is more pliable and soft. Still, with my orthotic they provide great support

Great fit, great looks, not enough cushioning in the forefoot and heel
Great fit, great-looking design, and nice colors in this neutral trail running shoe. But not enough cushioning in the forefoot and heel. They have a super comfortable fit, but they're a bit like flat-footed bedroom slippers. I would prefer a slightly thicker, more durable, sole and a more springy insole or footbed (in both the heel and forefoot) in a neutral trail running shoe with the same fit and looks, and with the 8 mm heel-to-toe differential, which I like. To me the durability of the sole and springiness of the insole is especially important in a trail shoe, which this is trying to be. On the plus side, my heel stays firmly in place and does not slip, which is sometimes a problem for me. (I have a narrow heel and wider forefoot.) Still, I cannot wear this shoe for long distances.
