Used it on a 3HP vacuum. Just ordered another for a 5HP vacuum.
The only real negative is that the case could be a little bigger. It's a bit tight getting the wires into, but otherwise, give you the start, plus thermal overload, and is priced right. I won't know about durability for awhile, though. I've used Allen Bradley in the past, and they last for 50 years. Hopefully this lasts at least 10.

It works great for my 5HP kitchen exhaust hood.
It works great for my 5HP kitchen exhaust hood. If commmercial kitchen upblast fan makes insane noise, the fan is rotating backward. All you gotta do is switch the 240v electric lines from circuit breaker(Black goes to red and red goes to black) problem solved.

Quality 3 phase switch
This switches a 3 phase vacuum motor for dust collection on my surface grinder and is a flawless magnetic switch. Highly recommend.

Installation tutorial. Lost a star due to installation difficulties.
Pro: cost and it works. Con: Installation, lack of instructions. Installation tutorial. First, the minor stuff. Mounting holes don’t match. I had to drill a new hole to mount the switch on my Unisaw, no big deal. I could not get the conduit connector to thread properly on the enclosure. I had to hog it out, and had to use a Forster bit to thin the material. You’ll understand what I mean when you try to put the connector on. The first thing you need to do is determine if you have the right starter. Take apart your Unisaw starter. Look for a dial with an arrow pointed to a number. That is the overload setting - mine was set to 12 apms. Make sure that the switch you select is within that range (for me, a starter rated at 6 -14a would work and also one rated at 12-20a would work because I could set either one to 12 amps) The wiring diagram is useless so I used the Delta wiring diagram and copied my old installation. Connect the line (i.e., plug) to L1 and L3. Connect the motor to T1 and T3. Polarity doesn’t really matter, but I put the blacks on L1 and T1; the whites on L3 and T3. Connect the green grounds to the silver bar. IMPORTANT: Turn the overload setting on the new starter to the same value as the old starter. If it is set too low, the starter may trip under load, if set too high, your motor won’t be protected from overload conditions. Good luck!

It worked eventually
When the product arrived I realized it was much smaller than I had anticipated. The plastic threads and they knockouts were horrible liquid type fittings would not even start to thread had to rethread them with a half inch piece of galvanized to get them to work. The contactor just sits in the box and is not attached to anything so by the time you fight the wiring into the tiny little box you have to adjust and make sure your contactor is hitting square or else the buttons won't work. The metal jumper that is used by the own button to pull the contactor in was extremely bent on arrival this did not allow for the button to make contact with it to energize the contactor when it was pushed. Had to remove it and bend it forward in order to make contact so I feel like sometime in the future I will be called back to come adjust it again because it's not making contact. It does what it's supposed to for the time being but not without a little effort. It was $900 cheaper than the OEM part so there is that. Just go into it knowing that you will be making some adjustments for it to work and it's not as simple as plug and play

There was poor documentation , wanted this for car hoist so didn’t need a seal in cct . Disabled that by removing jumpers only to find out contact dangling ? Way too tight box so difficult to get wires in space allowed . Then the threaded ends weren’t 1/2” npt conduit size so they stripped out ! Overall junk don’t buy .
