Excellent movie. Released October 1988. Tri-Star pictures. Gene Hackman and Danny Glover are great. It’s based on a true story..If you’re a movie buff you should ad this one to your library. It’s that good.

Good movie

Accurate account of the rescue. I spoke with Lt Col Hamilton before this movie was made and it is accurate to what he told me. And this was before he wrote the story and a movie was even considered!

Real good movie that brings out the tragedies and feelings of war.

Good quality with original screen on one side and wide screen on the opposite side. It came with clean cover box and no scratch on the DVD. Will buy future Blue Rays + DVD from this store again.

An accurate depiction of what it was like to endure the war and survive in Vietnam.

The English audio works just fine, so don't be put off and there are no issues with regions. You won't find find this excellent movie on a UK Blu-ray, so this is the best option. Hackman in one of his best roles!

This is an action-packed movie based on the true story of the recue of Intelligence Officer Iceal Hamilton, during the Vietnam War.Well acted by all cast, especially Gene Hackman and Danny Glover. Great aerial footage as well.

Great Gene Hackman movie. However can you please provide region coding as although sold thru Amazon AU it is a US region disk. Or specify if it wont play to Australian players. Just have to wait until buy a region free player ...
