good product, but poor execution....new update
the tapered spindles are fairly heavy duty and seem to be true when they spin. The issue i have is the set screw that is provided is not long enough when you use the reducing sleeve. It is so short the set screw goes past the threads and it is not able to do its job to secure the spindle to the shaft of the motor. I had to obtain longer set screws to secure them to the shaft. this is only an issue when using the reducing sleeve, but that is why i bought this brand!. When using the reducing sleeve, i did notice a slight wooble , not a game changer, but worth noting. Update 2/8/25 I want to mention that the seller has responded to my review and has offered a full refund for my inconvenience. I believe that this type of response, any acknowledgement really, is what is needed in this world. I am upgrading my stars to 4 to reflect my appreciation for the response and resolution. thank you BLSBUIDING for the great customer care. tony

Very snug and concentric on a 5/8ths shaft; makes life easier. Haven't used the adapters at all.
This really made changing buffing wheels a breeze, no more wrenching to change wheels or worrying about the arbor size of the wheel, just shut the grinder off and spin the wheel off in the opposite direction as the grinder rotation. Do the opposite to install a different wheel. This is what the Pros use. Suitable for quarter-inch to 1-inch arbor holes on fabric wheels. Just be sure to put the R spindle on the RIGHT side and the L Spindle on the LEFT. The grooves are cut in opposite directions. If you get it reversed, the wheels will come off immediately, get it right and the wheel never comes off and auto-straighten if you move it off center when applying too much force. Great Value; highly impressed. All of the YouTube pros only use these spindles for polishing.
