Handmade Christmas: Over 35 step-by-step projects and inspirational ideas for the festive season

Found this at my local library and wanted to have my own copy. Beautiful pictures and clear instructions. SImple, yes but also good source for some quick ideas for the holidays or modify for special occasions. Example - Use the jumping jack and bird cards as gift tags. Book also contained some recipes.

There are such lovely things to do that don't take too much time, or need a lot of experience. Very pretty book!

This is such a lovely book! There is lavish, full-page photography throughout, along with helpful step-by-step photos and illustrations, too. The book is separated into three chapters: Decorations, Cards & Giftwrap, and Gifts. There are engaging ideas throughout, with some directed for children, and others toward adults. Children crafts that my children have been enjoying include paper snowflakes, which we’re hanging in a front window, potato print giftwrap (and/or arm tattoos, lol), and we’ll try making snow globes during Christmas vacation.I’ve made several projects myself, including the lovely tealight houses, with easy instructions for different house facades cut into a folding panorama of metallic cardstock. It looks so nice on our mantle! I’d like to try the gift boxes and “button bites” cookies that you can use to “sew” onto greeting cards that I think I’ll make for my coworkers.

This is a book filled with all the classic Christmas projects beautifully photographed and stepped out so that you can make all the wonderful elements of the season. If you are looking to make new memories with your family this is a great book to craft them up and cherish all the handmade items for years to come.
