Does it leak on planes?

No it did not leak. At least my decanters did not leak on a recent trip from Chicago to Florida and back via air (April 2022). Also took these on recent road trips with no leaks. Not sure if they will hold up over a long time, but over the last 4 months they have been practical when traveling. I do beleive that the perfume will evaporate over a short period of time, so this is not a permanent solution for carrying perfumes, but I love how convenient and easy to use they are, and we don't have to lug glass perfume bottles around on vacation or for business travel.

Will this work for scent bird perfumes?

If the scent comes in liquid form then yes. It comes with 3 different ways of putting your favorite colognes/perfumes in it depending on how its dispensed originally.

The description says that is made from aluminum, it looks and feels like plastic. Any idea?

I travel with them all the time. Never had an issue. They only hold .27 ozs of liquid.
