So far, this set has worked perfectly. I am making small wallets & have had no problems installing the snaps. I appreciate the # of snaps & the great variety of color. I would purchase this set again.

Good starter set, but........ the instructions that are included are not helpful. You're better off looking at the step by step instructions in the product description. The plastic organizer is flimsy and the dividers fall out easily. Then your colors get all mixed up. I am going to put them in a sturdier box before they all spill out on the floor! That said, the snaps work well, but don't plan on using them on very thick fabrics or too many layers. I used them on 2 layers of thin fleece, but I don't think the snap would hold if it was much thicker.

Love all the colors and snaps feel sturdy. Agree with everyone else the “instructions” are horrible.

Great set and easy to use!

I wanted to love these. The company’s customer service impressed me with a prompt, personalized response to a question I posted. And I loved all the colorful, confetti-like snap pieces separated in their neat individual compartments. But, alas….my dream was not fulfilled. I punched my holes with the awl they provided and stuck in the pieces and then used the press to attach them to my fabric. Four snaps later I still didn’t have any that would snap together. I think there must be something wrong with the press/pliers. I can get the snaps to snap together after I put on rubber gloves for more leverage and even then I have to use the press about four times for each half of the snap before the two halves with snap together. My plan is to buy a different plier/press to see if I have a better success rate. You have to use the press to smash down the pointy prong in the cap piece. This secures the two pieces of each half of the snap (four pieces total: a cap and a male piece; a cap and a female piece). I don’t have enough strength to get leverage from the press needed to smash the point/prong to flatten it evenly. These could be so fun for me IF I could get them to work. I don’t know if the problem is me, the press, or the plastic pieces. I would return these because they are so hard for me to use (and I’d try a different brand) but I don’t feel right about doing that. The company provided them in good faith for a reasonable price and most reviewers are very happy.

The pliers work just as stated. They feel like they’ll last (although I’ve only set 6 snaps so far). The snaps seem as tho they’ll stay firmly in place.

I used it for making bags and cushions covers it is pretty handy works well with different types of fabric. I like that it is full of different colors. Easy to use.
