Awesome!

A collection of articles of very mixed quality. Some writers have genuinely tried to examine aspects of the Count from a philosophical perspective, which makes for fascinating reading. But, as you work your way through the book, you realise others are just using Dracula (or sometimes such a distorted or ill-informed idea of him that you wonder if they have actually read the novel) to bang their own drum for whatever issue they feel strongly about, or have a very tenuous connection to philosophy. Perhaps Mr Michaud could have been more strictly in his selection: in this case less would certainly have been more.
